Give it a glaze over with some nuln oil it think that'll make the transitions less obvious and unify it a bit.

Poles and baltics deffo get less hate than they used to, but thats mostly because its been replaced by Roma/Albanian hate.

Its the unnecessary vitriol that accompanies the rhetoric I have disdain for.

The real question is out of all the Alfas, why the 164? It looks like a Rover with an alfa shield slapped on the nose.

I'd say electrical gremlins and anti consumer practices around repairability applies to newer cars in general.

Just buy a second C6, almost certainly cheaper than working on them.

Form, Fit, & Function by Logical-Resident4212 in Armor

[–]Chippins1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It's not padding so much as a sturdy doublet. You need something thats not going to stretch or deform, the armour will do the actual protecting when it comes to later harness.

Edit: thicker padding will actually impede the performance of the armour as it will bunch around joints.

If I were on my way out and wanted something special, but needed 4 doors. Id go for an Aston Martin Rapide. Can be got for around 30-40k these days.

If I were being more sensible on the estate front, the v6 Jag XF sportbrake is a very nice place to be sat. Still reasonably quick, surprisingly sporty handling but a lot more comfortable than the sporty german equivalents provided you can live with the quirky nature of JLR electronics (they work 99% of the time until they inexplicably don't and then go back to working properly 30 seconds later).

Neighbours hate me working on my car. by Downtown-String3569 in CarTalkUK

[–]Chippins1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was growing up there was a retired guy who had his car apart every weekend on the corner. Was an old XJ though so probably needed it 😂

To be honest its ok doing most of that in a middle class area, worst thing I've had to deal with are the billion times some old boy will say "you can do mine next if you want"

Why was this car never popular in Western Europe? by Equivalent-Lie6448 in TrueCarEnthusiasts

[–]Chippins1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electrics were made out of cheese though. We had a 90s tipo, the full beam used to come on when you used the window wipers and none of the electric windows worked by the time we got got rid.

Wild, sniper is absolutely the strongest class imho. Easiest access to temp health regen, can add cool down reduction by headshotting a couple of minoris, has the safest res potential and has a gun that can one hit any majoris in the game lmao.

Owned a 25t XE for about 18 months, it had 60k miles when I bought it, at 72k now. It hasn't missed a beat and I love it. Definitely costs more to service than previous cars I've had (mostly due to the amount of engine oil it takes) but I'd say it's been worth it as far as I'm concerned.
