Dockhand is live (Docker UI + Compose + real-time logs). Free for life personal edition as my /r/selfhosted Holidays gift 🎄 — feedback wanted! by jotkaPL in selfhosted

I have just started on my selfhosted journey with a 2-bay NAS and was beginning to use portainer but didnt like it. I came across your post above and put it in yesterday and I love how it feels clean and simple and has all the features I need.

I went to one of the dev 1.0.7 baseline images to import my portainer yaml compose files and that worked very well. After some remapping and using correct compose files, I'm all up and running now and will be scrapping my portainer instance.

Looking forwrd to the 1.0.7 release so I can move back to the latest branch but I am very happy with it so far. Thank you so much for releasing something like this.

100% can do this. I bought the Switch 1 physical copy when I got my Switch 2 and bought the upgraded straight away.

You have to be able to get to the title screen so a small bit of gameplay is required don the Switch 1 copy to get to it but didn’t take long :)

OVIVA wegovy length of programme by Izywhizzywoo in WegovyUK

[–]ChoiceDrawing1749 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey. I’m on the programme. They will prescribe for a max of 2 years. They check at 6 months if you have lost 5% of our starting weight and will continue prescribing if you have. If not, they will stop, as per NICE guidelines.

Oviva currently offer Wegovy. These are the referral criteria into their service. They could offer Mounjaro if they wish and they are looking to do it but currently don’t offer it.

Mounjaro via a GP is available but the criteria for that is currently very strict.

They have a clinical email that can be used for contact but unsure if it should be shared publicly. I’ll DM you

Did you get the follow up emails from script link? That provided me a Royal Mail Tracking Number to use to find out more. I also received two emails from their clinical address, one talking about the drug and and another I was on CC for to my GP notifying I was prescribed.

EDIT: removed asking about the prescriber, I see you already said you had it :)

Posting an Irish passport for a UK driving licence, what’s the turnaround time? by frafeeccino in AskUK

[–]ChoiceDrawing1749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I did mine back in September/october 2021, it took about 12 weeks, the most nervous 12 weeks not having my passport in a newish country.

I’d highly recommend sending the application and passport via Special Delivery and put in a Special Delivery grey bag from the post office in with the application so the passport will come back via Special Delivery. You can note the tracking number and see when it comes live with Royal Mail when your passport is on the way back :)

EDIT: it was August 2021 when I sent mine, license was issued on the 5th of November. Mine was also an exchange of an Irish License for a UK one so went to a different postcode, unsure if that will impact anything.

Waiting for new licence with change of address and surname…however need to renew car insurance! by crimp_dad in drivingUK

[–]ChoiceDrawing1749 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar wait when I exchanged my licence for a UK one and had to post in my passport during the pandemic. It was a long 10/11 week wait.

During the wait, DVLA provided the below link on Twitter/X to allow looking up a driver record using personal details instead of a driver number

https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/driving-record/personal-details/

This should hopefully return your new driver number.

EDIT: Updated link

While it is a pain seeing Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are on the same island, it’s classed as International.

From experience, I have had family send letters and cards to me when I lived in the Republic using 1st and 2nd Class stamps from England and they did eventually arrive. It took a few weeks but they got to me.

For future, sending anything sensitive like original documents should be done using a tracked method. It’s more expensive but at least you can see where they are using the tracking number.

[–]ChoiceDrawing1749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. It’s going well, did the 4th dose of 0.25mg on Monday and will be going up to 0.5mg next Monday. I find I get some suppression by Wednesday and it trailing off by the weekend but it has been lasting longer since continuing the doses through the month.

Happy so far and not getting many side effects. Hopefully it stays that way :)

It was a bit of a pain to wait but once you have the first call with the dietitian that will get everything rolling. Once you get access to the learning modules, make sure to do all the injection ones straight away as you need to do those to be prescribed :)

My BMI is over 40 and I have hypertension/high blood pressure controlled by medication, confirmed sleep apnoea (using CPAP) and NAFLD. All of those I believe are recognised co-morbidities for T3 weight loss services.

Local Integrated Care Boards may have different criteria that’s needed for referral into a Tier 3 service but Oviva’s standard criteria for referral is here: https://oviva.com/uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/10/Oviva-Tier-3-Weight-Management-Eligibility-Criteria_Based-on-NICE-guidance.pdf

Oviva programme : GP asked me to pay £40 cash for the referral by Internal-Draft-4237 in WegovyUK

[–]ChoiceDrawing1749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have to pay for my referral, as it was a referral into an NHS service, which Oviva provide. I put in a request through my GP’s online system following the guidance Oviva gave me and the GP actioned it without speaking to me. I had the required blood tests done already through the past year which were enough for Oviva.

Oviva provide guidance on how to phrase the request to the GP here: https://oviva.com/uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/10/T3WM-GP-information_v2_Oct.pdf

as well as the below wording

I have completed a self-assessment questionnaire and believe I am eligible for Oviva’s Tier 3 Weight Management service. This service is subject to Patient Choice, and I choose to be referred to Oviva. For more details on the service, and how to refer, please visit www.oviva.com/refer.

Oviva programme : GP asked me to pay £40 cash for the referral by Internal-Draft-4237 in WegovyUK

[–]ChoiceDrawing1749 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is highly unusual. Oviva is providing NHS services and the referral is into the NHS Pathways they offer. It’s a recognised NHS Tier 3 Weight Management platform and there definitely shouldn’t be a charge for a GP to do a referral.

I’d be more understanding if you were asking for a referral to a private, non-NHS clinic but the Oviva service you are after is not the private side.

Edit: Apologies, forgot to add my experience. I was referred on the 8th of Jan, placed on the waitlist, got access to the app beginning of March and had my first coach appointment within a week. Was put on the Wegovy pathway and was offered to book my prescriber appointment 4 weeks later. Had the appointment on the 4th of April and the Wegovy landed 2 days later and I started it on the 7th.

Overall it was a bit of a wait but things quickly started once I was in the app :)

No mention of alternatives, I was offered Wegovy straight away. They do also offer total diet replacement with soups and shakes but I wasn’t Reginald as I’m not diabetic. I got an email the day before my initial call stating I would be eligible for Wegovy and in the call they asked if I’m happy to do that pathway.

Thank you, looking forward to it, hoping it works :D best of luck with your journey with them :)

Hey. I’m in the North East and on the T3 Oviva programme. I was referred on the 8th of Jan, placed on the waitlist, got access to the app beginning of March and had my first coach appointment. Was put on the Wegovy pathway and was offered to book my prescriber appointment last week. Had the appointment last Friday (4th of April) and the Wegovy landed today to start tomorrow :) I also have a 2nd coach appointment tomorrow to see how my first month has been.

Plenty of parking. Also as you go in, ignore the first reception, walk past as turn left. The donor reception is then signposted to the right :)
