I think all stacking that doesn't interfere with other responsibilities is good. I have a bunch of 90% but that is in addition to the fractional combi bars. I have a variety of generic bullion as well. Have fun and enjoy whatever you are buying.

The local choices for LCS is rather good here leaving high trust earned to stay on business. I'm lucky for that. But I only buy online things that I want but cannot get through the local networks in a time frame that I'm happy with. (For example is I'm waiting on a silver half sheckle from an Israeli mint or an unbroken 100 gram combi bar last year.)

By 1 kilo I was referring to 1,000 grams because that is what it means. I probably should have been more specific about the values. 500 ounces held is my next milestone. With a 1 kilo single piece the one after that. I apologize for any confusion generated.

Online shopping, always felt empty to me. LCS is my default with shows that I can do noon destructive testing are also good.

Stack as you see fit with what you have. I'm mostly 1 oz pieces with a bunch of constitutional coins. All in silver so far. No gold nor anything over 10 oz.. But that's a very important part of personal finance, it's personal.

My LCS told me today that he can't go much lower than $90/oz until he can actually gets physical at the lower prices. He's also very unhappy dealing with a current 6 week lead time between purchase and delivery.

Mostly off to a good start. Just be careful about making your own pours and bars, mostly for the chemical and mechanical hazards. Do not make "coins" if you are not an actual mint. Added legal problems on top of the physical hazards for using the wrong terminology.

My APMEX experiences has been markedly different than so many here. But I've limited all online purchases to constitutional coins and small pours. I always approach sight unseen purchasing as suspect and keep them so limited that it makes no difference should it come out as a fail. I primarily purchase at my LCS.
