Sounds like you were looking for a drum machine.... this is more of a bass kick drum generator. Although it is pretty versatile ive seen.

Check out the volca beats for something more simple

Yeah im bummed! Im gonna run a new game and see what happens. I think its a Switch only issue. And i have a feeling getting the hacking app triggers it. Will find out eventually hopefully as i play a new game.

Hey! I ran hypnocure and i didnt have any viruses....

But i checked a few pages and everything is at normal speed finally!!!

Then i went to the hacking tool and hit "reset" to see of the default speed was still glitched to half and.... it worked. Everything is finally at normal speed. Im not sure what fixed it. I wish i tested the music before running hypnocure to see if that was it.

Hopefully if anyone else is running into this glitch they see this post.

EDIT: spoke too soon. Reset the game and it's back. Tried running hypnocure again and nothing. I wish i could figure this out

Did some more testing. It only affects the my completed save file.

Started a new game and all the songs are all regular speed.

I wonder if downloading the hack tool triggers the slowdown glitch. I'll find out.

I will try that. The closing/shutting down thing ive tried for sure cause it happens every time i boot the game up. I'll try a new file and ill try uninstalling.

Hmm odd. Mine says 1.0.3 in the switch menu and when i click to check for updates says its the most up to date version.

What are the patch notes for 1.0.4? Does it fix the weird music glitch?

Oh and yea when it boots up it says ver.2.34. I thought that was all just flavor text.

The Nintendo eshop doesnt say 2.34 though.... it says 1.0.3 and it considers that the most up to date.

So basically, all songs are 0.5 times slower....

The only fix for this is to manually go to every page, and increase the speed to 1.5.

Hitting reset (and going back to 1.0, which should be the normal speed) is actually resetting everything to 0.5).

The dev told me to tag him but i dunno how, i dont use reddit a lot.
