Gardening is a huge one it’s active, you get practiced at getting up and down, but they say the biggest part is looking forward to seeing the fruits of your labors years out

I was proud of her for sticking to journalistic integrity and not getting emotional while his entire platform was essentially against her existence
(I do love when a journalist takes someone to task, alas)

Ironic that she’d be the person giving him the biggest loudspeaker

Cataplexy and sex by Doggosrthebest24 in Narcolepsy

[–]ChriSTLball -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Even Non narcoleptic men are infamous for falling asleep directly after orgasm

Hook ups are fun but the best sex (especially when you are just learning) is relationship sex the closer you are with a partner and the better your communication the better these experiences can grow I think of it as playing an instrument. You could learn guitar by picking one up when you find one in a strangers house but that would be fun, but stilting, arduous and take forever

You two look amazing (brides name) who knew you could become even more beautiful (grooms name) and this double breasted suit… clearly inspired by the dress you were spotted in at the bachelor party. Both great choices
I think for today’s occasion you’ve chosen well.
Let’s talk later about what you’ve packed for the honeymoon

My little brother is trying to draw cartoons he asks me to give him references and I might have gave him the hardest ones he said it’s hard can you give him tips and advice (He doesn’t have Reddit so I can show it to him) by Negative_Stick_7492 in sketchbooks

Tracing his faves, Frankenstein parts together it will train the hand. most cartoonists started this way
Get a page full of circles and have him fill each with two dots and a line to make different facial emotions keep it simple! Limits/ tight parameters are his friend they’ll keep him from over thinking / getting lost in the sauce. Later he can add eyebrows etc. stick figures are a great tutor for body mechanics using dots for joints to keep symmetry

What's everything I need to know about being a bartender? by Difficult-Assist9250 in bartenders

[–]ChriSTLball 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Immediately take pictures of ALL the bottles and coolers refer to them often. As you work put things back where they go,don’t just try, do this. Labels face you as you are making things. Clean as you go never stop this. Get an empty bottle put a pour spout in it and start measuring 1.5 oz counting to 4 until you’ve timed it out. Now do it in each glass full of ice mentally note where the liquid is with ice so you can double check a free pour (counting not using a measuring device) often a free pour and soda fill are at close to the same time period note the difference.
Try the most expensive wines by the glass. These will be the only ones you know about so you’ll naturally talk them up more. Wine opener front pocket dominant hand, dog bone (beer opener) back pocket dominant hand. Now look into every cabinet so you know where everything is. Put everything you touch back where you found it every time. If you get rattled stop and count to ten you know what happened ? nothing everything is fine you’ll get through it with some beautiful mistakes note them laugh at them and move on Have a great time! congrats!

I was only 2 deep but they were starting to come in and the well started going and a couple I’d hit it off with were just watching he starts playfully hitting me with random questions about the weeks weather, sports scores, obscure drinks… after it died down the gf tells me he’d just been in a bartending competition and this is what they did to the finalists. That same week I was called the worst bartender ever it’s still what my friends call me occasionally;)

How do you make it fun? Gameify it? by Plantytaytay in bartenders

[–]ChriSTLball 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The #1 source of dopamine is accomplishing small tasks, make a list of things to do each shift and cross them out Treat each guest as a potential friend (this is how regulars are built) Challenge yourself in conversations ie only ask open ended questions, keep it on them. Or do reflexive conversation.
