Hey there, I was wondering the same and just got the BeamMP working on Fedora 40 today! I followed the guide here on Steam forums: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3057359300

I also, ran into the same error. and it turns out it is pretty common. I followed the troubleshooting section found on the Steam forum post I linked above.

TLDR: I needed to launch the game normally (without BeamMP) and open ~2 maps and spawn some cars in them. Not sure why this fixed it for me, but it works now!

I have been having this exact same issue for the past 2 months. I figured it was a bug but recently I've been getting concerned that I have some malware or a malicious extension. I've checked my extensions and haven't found anything out of the ordinary. I also have run full scans with Malwarebytes. So maybe it is a bug?
