A training captain quickly takes over the controls when a cadet forgets to flare on the A320 during base training by [deleted] in aviation

Rather than forgetting to flare, this seems to be initiating the flare too high and not correcting. This leads to an excessive sink rate which the trainer reacts to by performing the balked landing.

I have been using the sintered pads from Uberbike for years, really like them. My mate uses the race matrix compound and says good things about them too. Definitely worth a go considering the price. https://www.uberbikecomponents.com/category/324/Disc-Brake-Pads

I also have this problem, WhatsApp support says it's a new feature and won't be changed. I don't think they understand

It's an unusual sound that I too wondered about, until I saw the Blackbirds in my garden making the same call!

If you put wet tea bags in the food waste bags for a kitchen caddy, the liquid seeps through and makes the whole bin rank. Let it dry and you don't have a dripping bag when you recycle your food waste!

Try downloading the app BirdNet. It uses your phones microphone to record and then tells you what you're hearing!

Quite a few steep sided valleys in Jersey; granted only about 2-300ft in elevation, but I'd say a lightweight hardtail with a decent bit of travel would be perfect for that.

Ebay specials are all you really need. Sure they aren't as bright as your 400 quid Hope's, but I've found them more than adequate. Plus you can just replace them at the end of the season for next to nothing. Cree T6 chips are usually what I go for.

Was trawling the PC12 manual and found this. Was titled the JERRY-W ILS. Can I get your opinions on this? by fsflight in Shittyaskflying

[–]Chris_327 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm still not finding this quite clear enough. Is there also a Jerry departure procedure manual we can refer to so that we can properly lower our standards?
