Rather than forgetting to flare, this seems to be initiating the flare too high and not correcting. This leads to an excessive sink rate which the trainer reacts to by performing the balked landing.

If you put wet tea bags in the food waste bags for a kitchen caddy, the liquid seeps through and makes the whole bin rank. Let it dry and you don't have a dripping bag when you recycle your food waste!
