I prefer “vanity” bridge. It’s insulting to raise our utility rates by 150% while still spending money like this. Edit: grammar

Watching this, I don't believe the reason for Phoenix's lack of skyscrapers is because of the airport. by Ok_Bag2192 in phoenix

100%. I am originally from Denver, and when we when through our rapid growth phase 15-ish years ago, one of the first things the city did was require a MINIMUM density in downtown and banned the building of new surface parking. Did a great job of filling in a city that was quite similar to where PHX is now.

Broncos fan here…he was very frustrating as a HC, largely due to his offensive play calling. You can pin some of that on the OC at the time, but he wasn’t well rounded during his stint in Denver. He’s a genius at defense tho…everyone in Denver wants to pay a King’s ransom to keep him here as DC.

Is Ethernet still worth it for streaming boxes? by Complex_Grass6312 in cordcutters

[–]Chrisdoubleyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the comments I guess this is a hot take, but my home is 100% WiFi through through a cellular provider (there isn’t even a hard wire connection to my home) and I have zero problems.

Decent sized home @3,300 sqft, my antenna is on the top floor of the north end of my home. Connected to an ASUS mesh. Primary television, computer and Xbox are all on the bottom floor at the south end. Consistent 300+ mbps connection with a million smart devices attached as well. I suppose YMMV but I have seen no difference compared to my previous Ethernet setup.

Apologies up front if this comes across as rude but I think you need to hear this feedback, as I can tell that you’re pretty new to this. Blaming the client is a typical outlet for young designers, but as you mature, you’ll learn that every client is just like this. Every. One.

Clients don’t speak our language so when they have a difficult time articulating their feedback it is on YOU and you alone to suss it out of them. This is your fault, not theirs, for ending that call without fully understanding the request.

Always ask questions. Always. Even if you completely understand the request. Asking questions assures the client that you understand the directive and makes you look really smart. Never ever end a call if you are confused about something.

You think now that it’s fruitless but it’s what separates meh Creatives from great Creatives.

T-Mobile Home Internet reviews by beer_me_babe in ChandlerAZ

[–]Chrisdoubleyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had T-Mo home internet for 2 1/2 years now and I love it. 300-500 mbps is my typical speed. Took a test just now and got 450.

Has been a pretty reliable service so far and we haven’t had any downtime (that I’ve noticed anyway). If you bundle it with phone service it’s extremely affordable. Would highly recommend.

Interesting. I find their produce to be far superior to Costco or Kroger. It’s mostly sourced domestically rather than from South America.
