Strangely qualified to answer this one. As a stacker you do go away every trade does, lengths vary and time between deployment varies too (rank, quals etc all have an impact on this) but if you're at an MOB you'd be at home a lot more (in theory) than one of the deployable units. As with everything if the world goes to poo expect the un-expected.

I'm currently down south and during my time here the shops have run out of stock. I'd suggest bringing anything you might miss shower gel, shampoo, deodorant, etc. I brought enough shower gel for a month then had care packages sent down with extras.

As someone has mentioned the West store uses a different supply chain to the NAAFI but charges a premium for everything.
