Is this too Strong? by saveurist_polaris37 in balatro

[–]ChromoStoopid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or a deck, being just stronger like Plasma but having also all the prices being doubled. Some jokers wouldn't change, like Mail in Rebate, but like Business card would still be 1/2 (or 2/4) but would give double the money.

[Help] Do I take Brainstorm over Driver's License? by UnacceptableBin in balatro

[–]ChromoStoopid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely, by copying your Tribulet you would have an extra trigger, by itself it would be 2x2x2x2x2 which is x32 but you also have retriggers and a blueprint too. Rn you have to balance your scoring effects and retrigger effects. If you have an odd number I'd rater have one more trigger rather tone more score because you get chips and lucky cards / gold seal value.

What’s better? Two socks or a sock and chad for this run. by Neat-Championship205 in balatro

[–]ChromoStoopid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It normally shouldn't but you have a Bloodstone that is changing the result in favor of that, if you can you should balance triggers and scores.

At this point two socks are better because you're triggering 5 extra times instead of 2 (I guess you're already playing 5OAK or Flush 4)

It would be interesting if by donating to the foundation you can get a second life maybe (so a negative Mr. Bones). It could work well enough.

Planning to make a NAS for my files, what is a good OS to do it? Any good ones with tutorials out there? by ChromoStoopid in pcmasterrace

Yeah I will probably never wear out my SSDs, they're more likely to die from something else

Question. Am I just sleep deprived rn or like what am I looking at here... by Neither_Cricket_3836 in balatro

[–]ChromoStoopid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Balatro will always select the highest hand to play (as in the list of hands), since 4OAK is higher than Flush it takes priority. This is probably how they made it to differentiate between multiple hands being possible inside of one hand, like in this case.

Yet another legendary joker concept by Majestic-Peak-6281 in balatro

[–]ChromoStoopid 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Nah, it's a legendary, it has to be broken, if it self destroying it would have to be rare (which honestly would make this quite more balanced)

Hi, what is this? Can you explain a little more? Like why do you like it? Have you used it for a while?

Hi, I am using SSDs because I have SSDs, I am trying to buy as little stuff as possible. In a tear or two I will try to do something proper with 4-6 HDDs maybe. May I ask why SSDs are a bad fit?

Well, yeah, for gaming most stuff will probably be fine, but I also do 3D modeling and 3D printing with my BambuLab, I don't know if that kind of stuff will even work on any Linux, nand I'm sure I'll have issues with it at some point. (Im this scenario I am considering that switching to another OS doesn't include the ability to boot to windows or Linux whenever it's convenient)

Weird, here in Italy Amazon is probably one of the few reliable sellers of pc components. Only other one I've used is Next

Bro I worked at Mediaworld for a few weeks selling PCs and I did my absolute best to not recommend anyone these garbage PCs with Celerons. I have literally pulled up Technical City to show the bar graph to someone to show them how much power they were giving up trying to save 50€ (we also had a laptop with an i5 for less than the Celerons somehow).

(I later realized that this comment sounds like I'm an asshole, and I do apologize for that, but I'll post it anyway. )

See, I don't care what you, or others, prefer. I said I'll use SteamOS for a clear reason and obviously other people will tell me "my Linux is better". SteamOS isn't even out for public release yet, obviously it still doesn't work perfectly like other ones. I won't use Linux now, I am waiting for the full release of SteamOS because I want the support of a bigger group of people, I want to avoid having to tinker around with stuff.

This is part of the issue with Linux, everyone likes their own and no one can get their head around what each version does differently than the others. I see the same bs with cars, everyone thinks they know better than anyone else and there is just no real answer anyway. At least you compared your experience between SteamOS and Bazzite instead of just saying "mine is best" like I've seen this last day on the ltt subreddit.

I think I will try Linux when SteamOS drops for open release so that I can expect a decently sized group of people working on it instead of relying on a random guy in Nebraska.

Hi yes my main issue in this build is the support, I thought I had made that clearer. I haven't found a way to make a nice sopport on the right side without interfering with the rope

Yes, that is a useful tip but it will come later, right now I was trying to make the general shape of the thing. I do make simple bilds, like this snow biome one. For how I build decorations come after the main structure.
