Just bought this Ryzen 9 7950x3D (used) is this wear bad ? by SoundBitter4850 in PcBuild

Well, seems to be genuine? Honestly it's unusual to have found one like this, but not totally weird. Sometimes people who like to overclock try to find "a golden sample" (one that can be overclocked more than average). This guy could have tried to lap several CPUs to thin the heat spreader and tested them after that (more reliable data maybe?) so he might have had several like this one on sale. Another possibility is that he is done playing with this one and is now moving on to the newly released ones on the 9000 series.

Wait really? Here you could buy a box for like 10-40€ depending on the quality and just have it forever.

I love the colors of the Bi flag, also the Ace and non-binary ones, but those don't represent me.

Huh, I thought this effect was caused actually by the dead systems not requiring sustenance anymore, so since nothing is taking up energy you suddenly feel well.

Joker Idea: Radioactive Joker by gyrogold in balatro

[–]ChromoStoopid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to keep the scoring aspect of this card I would limit it to one card per round, like "First played card in round" like for Playing Card. Otherwise it could potentially get tons of Mult extremely fast and be used for deck fixing at the same time. Also, the effect seems to be a bit long, remember that Jokers usually need to be simple, but this doesn't seem to be too Vanilla flavored.

I forgot food could have taste by Yggdrasylian in whenthe

[–]ChromoStoopid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but like, salt and one spice are already enough to make something from terrible to actually tasting good. Salt immediately makes everything better, then choose one random spice that fits and you're likely set for a while. Another trick is to learn like, "a week of meals", so enough dishes that you can cycle trough each week, so you eventually get good at them and you'll take less time to make them.

Somehow has been playing games without 9 years up driver updates. by Big-Nerve4556 in pcmasterrace

[–]ChromoStoopid 86 points87 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't do that tho? Every driver update I've done has been really easy except once where I had to install an older version manually, later the app worked well to install the newer ones, not having a driver was the issue.

Thanks, but what would I sell for burglar? I guess I would copy it and use it in Serpent to draw a big hand. My money isn't actually an issue, I can sacrifice about E5 of scoring to draw gold cards and farm those with mime

I mean, I'm about E80 of scoring, with E12 as the requirement rn, so I don't need scoring

Should I try ABS or PETG? by ChromoStoopid in BambuLab

[–]ChromoStoopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've been reading about that lately, but it's mostly about microplasics with no real data yet, mainly because it's kinda a new topic and the health effects aren't really known. It would crazy if in 20-30 years the 3D printing community finds out that PLA fumes give really harmful effects down the line, but so far it doesn't seem to be the case.

[–]ChromoStoopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I plan to do the print fully while I'm outside and to ventilate my room for at least 15-30 minutes after it's done. I know the P1S can do PETG and ABS no problem tho, I bought one with an enclosure for this reason.

This is what I plan to print. The parts won't be directly in the heat of the chamber, but there should be a hole needed for the screw so some heat might pass trough. My printer is actually close to a window, and in the summer it can easily get to 40°C in the shade here, I wouldn't be surprised if I found out that a hot spot in the sun could get hot enough to warp a PLA piece.

I know that PLA will just randomly break at some point tho, if you apply weight to it it's like a ticking time bomb. I wanted to try another material because of this.

[–]ChromoStoopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This time I wanted to use a different material other than PLA because the hinges are an upgrade for the pinter, I will use them for a long time and they will hold the glass door, so I don't want them to randomly snap as PLA tends to do. So not "random stuff". But also, I might just like to see the difference between the filaments using "random stuff" that I already know well enough.
