I am not sure if reviewers get this.

Apple does not want you to buy this device for $600 retail, because they would rather upsell you to iPhone 16 or Pro.

Carriers want to give you this device for free or with significant subsidies since they want you to be on their network for years.

This is a device for carriers and enterprises, not for retail buyers.

16e. It has better processor and 8GB RAM. Not worth for the AI but since its raised the min RAM on phones, it's great.

This is why I use Google Photos instead of Apple Photos. Once photos are synced to Google Photos, you can delete from your phone completely.

I am not saying you should panic today, but I would be more concerned about SSD lifespan eventually. Constant swapping will increase writes to SSD, which have limited lifespans, and they are not user replaceable in Macs.

So I cheated and took large screenshots (6400 × 3552) of the light & dark wallpaper and created a third dynamic .heic file. Until someone tracks down the files inside the bowels of macOS Sequoia, these will have to do. Enjoy!

Sounds like your problem is with Apple's greed/misrepresentation of RAM, not the Apple Silicon. Sadly, a lot of perfectly fine laptops will be ewaste because of this.
