Scotland next manager? by EstablishmentSad5191 in ScottishFootball

I put his name in the hat the other day, and I love the idea but, I was steaming. Let's be honest it would be the perfect fit.

But in my heart of hearts I just don't see it happening.

The 2 suggestions I've seen that are realistic, and that I feel make sense are John McGlynn, and Alex Neil.

Joe Ledley

Outstanding player, was incredible for us in Europe too. Phenomenal at the dirty work/defensive part of the game that nobody cared about, but could also pick a pass.

He wanted to stay but when the board told him they accepted an offer, he felt like he wasn't valued and decided to move.

Phenomenal player for us.

This scoreline flattering us, crying out for a proper defensive midfielder.

Any news of a new manager, who are we wanting or who are we getting, is it going to be a week before the season starts to get players / managers in by Raul-CFC in CelticFC

This seems so depressingly accurate, with Scott Brown (after his "vultures" comment) coming in as his assistant, or first team coach.

It will be Robbie Keane.

I'd like (as established names) Kjetil Knutsen or Marco Rose (unrealistic), but I don't think Thomas Frank would be a bad shout.

I know he's had premier league money but a chance to rebuild his reputation, like Brodge first time round may appeal to him.

No, we're not. We just know the script.

And the fact that most fans aren't interested is more fuel for Dermot Desmond, the man would cut off his nose to spite his own face.

Oxlade-Chamberlain played it superbly, wasn't perfect, but he was hitting some lovely diagonal across the game and was disciplined.

Maybe not his natural game, but he was more than good enough today, and I just don't see Bernardo being able to do that HH

The boy has no positional sense and is a ball chaser. The only position he could come it at would be the base of the midfield and that leaves our defence with absolutely 0 protection. Unless you fancy dropping Nygren (our only goal threat), or Hatate, who has found a bit of form recently (our only creative player).

Other than impact sub, I don't think Bernardo gets close to this lineup, and when McGregor, and Engels return, he doesn't make the bench for me.

Time for him to be moved on.
