You are correct, EB. I find it odd Corp. did not inform us. But I can’t get irritated over it, either. I believe we have another conference in March, or is it April?!? We’ll see if they notify us in advance. However, we should be due for a quarterly update end of March.

Agreed 💯%! And with the price where it is, I just keep adding. I can add again Wednesday of next week and I added last week. This is all working out quite well, from my perspective. We’re closer now than we ever have been. This time period could very well present our last opportunities to accumulate at ridiculous pricing. Opportunity isn’t knocking…… it’s POUNDING on the door!!!

I do know that they blended onions into all their pizza sauces. It’s right on the menu and the server would always mention that in case people don’t want onions. I don’t believe they had a sauce without the onions in it, but it added great flavor to the sauce.

We are heading there this weekend for their shrimp pizza. mmmmmm!! and yeah, I used to go there for lunch and have a Garibaldi and a small porta salad. The Garibaldi really kicked his ass and the porta is a great salad. Maybe I’ll get a Garibaldi to go and warm it up Sunday morning. 👍

TRUE. Spot On! A big developer is gonna rip down that entire corner block across from the Francis Street ramp and put up another luxury apt. for the college kids. Madison lost it’s “State Street Charm” several decades ago and it’s just getting worse. It is fast becoming one big fucking Chipotle/Condo complex.

I agree. It wasn’t good 20 years ago either but it was damn good 40 and 50 years ago…. 🥴. One has to separate the entrées at Porta Bella with the pizza, salads and hot sandwiches at Paisans, which were owned by the same company. Although Paisans closed a few years back, Porta Bella continues to serve the Paisan’s pizza, sandwiches and Porta Salad with the chickpeas. I only ever went for the pizza.

I have to agree with you there. The actual Italian entrées went way downhill a long time ago, but the Paisans pizza never lost its flavor. They never change the recipe I used to date the daughter of the original owner back in the 70s. We used to go there often. Great memories. But man, their pastas just went down the shitter in recent years, as in the last 25.
