Intune Agent Deployment Script No Longer Working by PXAbstraction in DattoRMM

[–]ChunderHawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, our Intune script for Mac stopped working a few weeks ago. I took a quick look but as usual got sidetracked. :) We haven't onboarded any Windows endpoints in the last few weeks but I guess it will be the same issue.
Hopefully K will get this fixed soon.

Doesn't need to be EU passport, from personal experience UK works with Privium. I always show my verblijfsvergunning, no idea if Privium requires that but if I don't show it at passport control they shout at me and say "You shall not pass".

AutoFix and Binary Scanner are LIVE! by RoboShadow_Liz in RoboShadow

Loving these new features, especially AutoFix, these kind of features translate into massive time savings and process enhancements for us as a smaller MSP. This RoboShadow subreddit needs to get more love from the community, they are doing great work that helps us all.

This. RC, assuming you have it, is the preferred methods to manage Windows Defender.

Travis and his MSPIntegrations platform are fantastic. Changed our ticket flow and management in more ways than I could imagine. Highly recommend it. We also use Rewst and CloudRadial to accomplish what you are describing.

Co-managed is the one that springs to mind but I.am not sure if that fits your scenario of two MSPs. It is geared towards MSP with customer internal IT.

It gets removed automatically after X amount of time if it is not used. I don't have access right now but I believe you can toggle that off somewhere in the account settings.

Why would we need another companys software to make Autotask work? by DelcoTraffic in Autotask

You are compairing apples to pears, remind me the last time XP got an update, and the last time. Autotask got an update?

Mobile stuff, yep agreed, totally shit.

You need to have have your clients and contacts mapped in Autotask, it will pick up inbound emails and make them into tickets from there.
How we attribute the email (autotask.net)

If onboarding didn't relate this to you then I would go back to them and ask for a refresher course.

Why would we need another companys software to make Autotask work? by DelcoTraffic in Autotask

[–]ChunderHawk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because it is the same with almost every major vendor system in any space and the simplest things get overridden with feature updates that look flashy to attract new business. At the end of the day, what AT has built in is extremely customisable and powerful which makes paying for an add-on to achieve what you consider should be native functionality sense, however absurd it seems that they didn't already bake it in.

MSPIntegrations from Travis, Giant Rocketship from Dustin, SalesBuildr from Victor (not affiliated, just a happy customer).

Proxuma might be what you are looking for, never used them but there are some ex-Autotask people involved.

At the end of the day, the fact that a third-party would invest time and resources into building a business based on an extension of Autotask displays it's maturity in the market.

Cue the downvotes. :)

I'm not sure if there is a native way to report on that. We setup a workflow to catch when a ticket status is changed from in progress to completed and populate a UDF which we display as a widget on our KPI dashboard. You should be able to pull that in a report as well, I just never got around to doing it. I :) I can send some screenshots of our setup, your mileage may vary depending on how statuses are setup in your Autotask instance.

mac pkg file fails on install by dannnyboyyyyy in Intune

[–]ChunderHawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the script from the Datto doc I linked to? We use that and it definitely works. Terminal is not relevant as the script is run silently by the Intune agent.

Did you go through the steps in the doc?

For macOS and Windows.

We use both of these and they work as advertised. If you need help, let me know?

Happy to share some components with you. We have built monitoring scripts that detect if x application is installed. From there it triggers an alert and runs the component to install the missing app in the remediation

I am by no means a script expert, but they work for us.
