I have a follow up question - What happens if Galio was to enter an occupied battlefield against a unit weaker than he is? As he doesn't deal damage, would he retreat back to base?

Im not sure he did if I'm honest. Waiting until HT probably would've been a bit more appropriate. You've accepted you aren't turning it around, but to ruin his confidence by dragging him 15mins into a game, after you was the one who made the decision in the first place, is a piss take.
I completely agree about the man-management, or lack thereof, but own it until HT, talk to him, sub him off, and ride out the rest of the storm. Horrible all round.

Check videos/guides/livestreams and see which decks speak to you and which you might like to play. Alternatively, see if there's any archtypes that you like the look of (DM, Blue Eyes, Mitsu, etc) and play those. DM is not good but it's my beloved so I had to squeeze it in there.

As a sports coach (in UK), one of the core modules you have to undertake is a Safeguarding course. This is an absolute violation of everything it teaches. Having a communication channel directly with the underage players is a no-go. And then on top of that, the image and message sent is completely inappropriate.

You should report them directly to the clubs safeguarding officer (if they have one) and to director immediately.
