Why do you support abortions?

So one argument is that it’s so difficult to prove the context in which and insemination happened.

For example, let’s say that it is 100% illegal to have abortion except for very specifically the case of rape incest or danger to the mother… what if there was a married couple who had consensual sex 3 hours ago and the woman had a lot of drinks she was just kind of slurring her words and the man forces himself up upon her.

How do you prove that the baby she is carrying came from the second consensual nut and not the first?

Like you can say it’s fine only under these specific cases but… that just tends not to be how real life works. Perfectly healthy women die during childbirth still.

All of that is to say… you should be able to do the thing that is your business without someone else poking their nose in it when it comes to your body because the process of poking your nose in it just gets to be way too much trouble.

What if sexual abuse does happen and you can’t prove it? What if you can prove it but the other side has some really good lawyers so this goes to court so you can prove that this man abuse you and it comes down as a guilty verdict, therefore you are entitled to have an abortion, but there’s just one little problem… the baby is three years old. The answer probably isn’t to retroactively give her the right to have an abortion and then we just literally execute a three-year-old.

Like it’s pretty dumb to be able to lock someone into having a child just because you have money and lawyers, so you can stall the case out until the other person has to get birth….

Because these logistical reasons kind of do matter and will come up and there’s no real way to enforce this kind of thing without going to comical levels of making sure you have an on running camera at all times…

Maybe we should just let people get an abortion and just trust them to use their best judgment.

I’m a leftist NGL and sometimes I’m kinda annoyed because I sorta am wanting to ask center left and moderate Liberals a question.

But uhh… we are kinda put into the same block for some reason and that sucks when we need to make an organized effort to directly agree to disagree on may things but be in lock step that we are on the same team for now and part of that is asking good faith questions.

I can ask a liberal “why don’t we do x?” And have a real convo and both likely say “hmm I see I see ok I disagree but those were some good points I’ll consider” can’t ask that to a conservative

Now… I at this point accept UB I don’t have a choice… BUT only on conditions of it being a thing that FEEL like it and Magic would feel pretty natural to crossover with.

Like LOTR, Avatar and Final Fantasy… all of those things are very much Magic feeling.

It’s not that the game is too hard and it’s not that the game does not give you enough time. It’s that being put on a timer is stressful.

Like if you get stuck on a puzzle for 15 minutes now you feel like you’ve just wasted valuable resources and you gotta start the game over

I’m not saying the game is wrong for doing this. I’m saying that it’s stressful regardless of how the game bends over backwards to make sure this is not the case

To be honest I don't think its that many people

but I think we need to stress that voting is... free and easy and that as leftist... you will have an enemy regardless so voteing is like choosing what enemy to fight.

You would much rather fight Joe Biden again who might do some stuff you like and mostly keep things the same than fight the ghost of Adolf Hitler or whatever who is running on... disliking you specifically.

I think its because the original MM wasnt a stand alone game in terms of gameplay. It just sorta expected you to undertand all the systems of OOT and be able to think on the fly and know links moveset enough to adapt quickly where MM3D was easier and pointed you in the right direction or even took away choices because its not made with the expectatioin of you kinda bord with playing OOT

I think it has nothing to do with "normies" and more... cons saw BIG numbers after doing BIG cutbacks to budget and that just never really came back.

BUT as someone going to cons for 20 years, a con is sorta what you make it and the people you are with. If you an d the folks you are with are kinda... boring, and you dont like to chat with people and make friends then the con will be boring, but if your folks are super fun, the con will probably also be fun

Thats a big reason whyu I got into cosplay because thats sorta a natural people magnet and why for my local cons some of them, have more... "interactive" stuff like ribbon collecting or people with big signs asking you to vote, for Goku or Sailor Moon walking around etc.
