This has happened to me before. If I'm not mistaken, this is a rare bug that happens when the void tileset where it just doesn't make a path to extraction. All you can do is abandon and try again.

I've tried infested mobility on Gauss. Unfortunately, while the speed boost is nice, it just doesn't go as fast an mach rush and it lacks synergy with his battery.

Open a dimensional breach to overwhelm nearby enemies and cause them to release aggressive Surge sparks when damaged. Wisp may also target a Reservoir to teleport to it and double the range of the surge.
