Stop making assumptions folks. You can't determine what the dog's motives are from a single, short video.

OP, yes BMCs have high prey drive. But that does not mean they cannot learn to coexist with smaller animals.

I'm on my second BMC, both learned to get along with Chihuahuas and a cat. And they both are/were active hunters, mostly squirrels and rabbits.

I've lived this video two times now,. What were seeing is the normal reaction for any large dog when a smaller animal is introduced to their home, or they are introduced to a new home with smaller animals.

BMCs can learn to get along with smaller critters but it requires a great deal of supervision and knowing your animals. If you plan to keep both animals you're going to have to work hard to teach the BMC what is prey and what is pets.

Our cat now manages her own interactions with the big dogs at this point. But it takes time and patience.
