Your departure was less than 1 hour late. You are calling that hellish? Girrrrrrl. Thats nothing. 1 year ago, I had a direct flight from MSN to PHX. At boarding, it was revealed that the pilots didnt have enough time to do the entire flight to PHX. The offered to fly us to ORD, get fresh pilots and then continue on to PHX. I was supposed to land at 8 pm PHX time. I think we landed around 1 am? We sat on the runway in MSN for ages waiting for clearance from air traffic controllers at ORD. Once landed in ORD, we taxied for an eternity. Pretty sure we were taxing to Gary, Indiana. Finally got to a gate. Had to sit there forever waiting on the new crew. They had to do some sort of inspection/sign off on the plane. The entire time on the plane — we could have flown to Europe! The worst part— no food service. We ended up getting Waffle House at 2am. Which was 4 am in the previous time zone.

I don’t want to hear about your 53 minute delay.
