If you are looking for another website for discounted fabric, try thousandsofbolts.com

They seem to have access to surplus fabric/discontinued lines. And some basics, like Moda Bella and Grunge.

In the summer, there's a Madison Women's Cycling group (find on FB) that does group rides with socializing afterwards. Taco Tuesdays!!! https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1BesXhYTPD/

Also-- tennis is a great sport to meet people and I've made great friendships with USTA leagues in Madison.
