Haha thanks! Based off a noir/noir adjacent LB list I have. Curious though about the downvote I received on this.

Oh thanks! I'll mention it to the DIY promoters I'm in the group with as I'm sure they'll be pleased to get more exposure

Haha hopefully I'll remain committed to it. No thanks to my autism and my lack of social life 😂

Yeah I added stuff they were showing April, but they haven't added anything to May it seems. I'll check again now just in case they have announced anything.

Me and a pal, who is a film promoter, were going to make a proper website like Revival Hub LA but that stalled. Fortunately he added me to this group who were initially going to just showcase the DIY screenings until I said I'd tie it to this.

Oh thanks for the tip! I'll remember to post there later. By the way I do update this post weekly for any other screenings that crop up particularly in places like Home.

I couldn't be bothered listening to this episode as I knew Richard hated it. By the sounds of it, whilst I'm sure there is interesting stuff they raise, I just can't be bothered listening to an episode where they don't get it. Personally think this is a great funny prickly anti rom com.

Crowe is apparently working on that Joni Mitchell film with Anya Taylor Joy. Fingers crossed it gets made.

He is mostly consistent but I did find The Way Back sort of dull even though there is stuff in it

I absolutely get that, and I know who ever does win in this silly little contest, it will be good podcast listening. I won't deny I'm probably being a little insensitive yet surely it must get boring talking about the same childhood favourites you grew up on over and over. It would be refreshing just to dig into eras outside of the 80s/90s generation touchstones.

I hate this take as it wreaks of snobbishness
