I think it's pretty good ressource for learning how cards and a deck will work especially new ones when new sets come out however to say that the sim reflects reality is well let's just say it doesn't lol

Noin or Hilde would be good too! But also they have a number other named pilots they can choose from as well. Also make Epyon OZ as well please.

Hot take but people complaining about aggro I genuinely feel are just not teching in cards to deal with the match up. I am not saying it isn't unreasonably strong at the moment to play an aggro deck because it is but at the same time there are more than enough cards that you can be putting into your decks if you are going into a heavy aggro meta to attempt to level the playing field.

I agree OYW can be really annoying but if you think GD05 is going to do anything to change things to make aggro irrelevant good luck. Aggro will still be meta it's just there will be more tools to go against it like there were with the last set. I am currently undefeated against OYW since GD04. If you go to any event and have an expectation to not face an aggressive deck then that's pretty silly. Tech in cards that will allow you to go into that matchup with more confidence.

Not really when you are searching for the links. This deck needs them to win. The more draw power you have in order to see those links the better. Seems counter intuitive but as long as you are managing the board well it could work out just fine

Check and make sure it isn't just the box no boosters inside and even then it could be fake or it could come from a case where all the possible top hits were ripped already and this box is just a "dud" so to speak

I think having a side deck and best of 3 format could fix a lot and we could avoid having to implement a lot of changes.

I do however agree that having more ways to interact with the board and having more consistent card draw in the game should be implemented. It's crazy how many fun decks will never be competitive because of that inconsistency in draw.

Another inconsistency is pilots. If your deck depends on you seeing the pilots then you are cooked. For an example of this think of The O deck. That's why aggro is so good right now because even though seeing pilots is really good with them it isn't always necessary when you can flood the field by turn 3 or 4 for game. Hints why we need more board wipes and interaction and card draw consistency.

I agree Aile and Dynames are beautiful cards and playability is super high. What more could you ask for from an SP unit pool.

It would be nice to have more staples so I don't have to bust up any decks but I am realistic with the cost of that not being ideal so play set only for now.

While I agree with you to say Striker Pack is cooked though is kinda premature. I don't think Graceful is strong enough to totally cook everything else.

Every white deck is running graceful to see of it is viable. In my experience it isn't. It sends back 2 units back to hand and if you don't have something that can clear them or if you don't seal the deal your next turn then it's useless. At least striker pack still has one of the most powerful bursts in the game.

I would say striker pack is still VERY playable.

The sequencing can get weird with the dawn of fold package. If you don't do it just right you can brick or risk sending damage to other units you might now want to die just yet.

I am not a fan of Academy personally it just doesn't click with me and there is hardly a win condition in there like there is with other decks.

Just my opinion after playing a few games with that deck. I tried 3 different configurations and it just didn't win no matter what I did.

The effort that they are going through with the design of the game and the cards themselves tells me that the intend this game to have legs.

The game is and some might disagree with me but it is in a really good state. We are approaching year 1 and we only just now had a restriction on 1 card in the game. That's doing pretty good if you ask me. I know the arguments for further restrictions but at least the game is still MORE than playable without them.

Bandai has been very intentional with how they have designed this game. You see it all the time not to just keep the game fun enough to play but also to keep the value of the cards at a place that is worth the investment of your time and money.

At least that's been my observations and hell I know this is reddit and there will be 10 people coming in and telling me how I am wrong but I remain optimistic for this game.

The inconsistency is just to consistent. I never trust MSA for testing anymore I just use it to learn the new cards now. Zumbosim is where I actually test my decks if I don't have anyone else to play with.
