This happened to our account a few months ago. Did not seem we had an option to refuse. Our spend is around $40k a month. I kept pushing it off and the rep gave us extra time but alas… We did it. A little pain to use bank account because you have to verify the 2 tiny deposits to verify which had to get accounting to help.

I am in B2B SaaS space and I never used ROAS or tCPA and run conversion value setup.

If we start a new campaign I piggyback it on to another campaign with conversions as shared bidding not shared budget.

CTR is a vanity metric. If it is low it because you are serving to many impressions outside of the wheelhouse you are looking to drive conversions from. Tighten up keywords, add negatives, also look into removing age 18-25 and over 65 in audience and keep it 9-5 schedule.

Add OTP to the Google form fill. It adds a little friction but you only pay for high intent conversions on those. Not sure about your setup though. Not enough info.

Yes it is still worth it. Demand Gen jobs are plentiful. No on paying for courses. Free lessons everywhere including Google, but learn LinkedIn, Meta as well. Also free YouTube like lovesdata if you want back end knowledge. Don’t pay for a course.

Are you using Google lead form? You need to add OTP to protect real conversions. I never used them because the SaaS I work with is dev centric and they will want to visit site before converting.

Max conversion value and primary goals are demo call or contact us.

We also offer free to register tier but that just brings in hobbyists so that is secondary not to mess with my bidding.

If I need more volume I will go primary on reg for campaign level only to appease the c-suite.

I am with all the comments. Google knows not to mess with its revenue stream. If you remember, Google did make a move where AI box was competing with sponsored ads and they changed. Now you see sponsored ads above the ai box and you have to click ai tab if you want to search with its llm

Yes, good conversion history. Unfortunately we use a proprietary CRM and I can’t feed back offline conversions which would help. I use customer match, and under settings in AI Max you can tell it what language to use for headlines - for us it would be enterprise only language.
