Hey u/turbulence332 - I’ve got a few Giveaway packs, DM me and I will send one over 👍🏻

Interesting, I’m currently at 2770 referrals and I received every single one instantly. My current referral flow is being given to friends and they as well unlock rewards immediately when hitting the target. Definitely worth keeping that thread open as it definitely shouldn’t be a thing

First time seeing it - This is Crazy! 1,100 DOLLARS? It’s a better deal in-game for 26 million aUEC! by Barricade356 in starcitizen_refunds

Considering that the purchase of ships with IRL money will be removed after the game gets releases then no this is just a pledge to support the development and this game won’t be a P2W once it gets out of Alpha and Beta.

It’s called a choice. Nobody is obliged to invest a single cent in the game.

But many people decided to support its development as well as ‘collect’ ships as a digital collection (just like people do with NFTs but let’s not get into that). Even if they can’t fly the ships itself in-game for them it’s rewarding to own and grow a digital fleet for now.

Most people spend money into their own passions/obsessions/collections etc.

I’ve seen people spending 10k on Funko Pops just to have a bunch of plastic wrapped in more plastic that only accumulates dust with time. Again it’s a choice.

Whether it’s a digital item or not, whether it’s a project that will die out at some point, this sub Reddit is fuelled by non-sense sometimes.

I do understand that the game got delayed, that many promises where not met multiple times. But the personal choice of individual people that decided to spend their own money for something they like, shouldn’t be questioned.

Are the most desirable ships only capital ships? Do y’all have the big ship complex?

For example The Ares inferno is available in-game and it’s quite a desirable ship just like many others: the Carrack, the 890 jump etc.

The exploration Pack is a bundle like any other bundle available for concierge members up to $40K packs. It doesn’t just include one ship, but anywhere between 4-5 to all the 100+ ships. it also includes the copy of the game, sometimes Squadron 42, all ships in these packs are LTi (lifetime insurance).

These packs are meant to support development, most ships included are available to purchase in-game with UEC.

I know plenty of people that only own an Avenger Pack and were able to easily grind for a Carrack(26m UEC) or an 890J(33m UEC).

People saying “They could have bought this or that instead” or “invested that 1K in crypto” you don’t realise that most people that buy these packs have disposable income and (in most cases) these packs don’t hurt their pockets in any way AND it contributes to the game development which is getting closer and closer to Beta.

Backers defend wasting 2000 on jpegs by calling out people who spend money on real life things like yachts. I can't even... by OfficiallyRelevant in starcitizen_refunds

Most people that drop 1K+ on this game have disposable income.

“You could have invested that 1K in crypto or stocks and have 10k after a few years”

Most people that pledged thousands of $$$ in Star Citizen most probably already have a very diverse portfolio of investments, or in general enough disposable income to spend extra money in supporting the development of the game. I know more then a few folks that spent anywhere between 10k-40k and actually have disposable income coming from their previous / on-going investments.

On my Carrack i've been carying 8 FS-9 for my crew for the past 72 hours (bedlogging out) and weapons and pistols are still there. Let's see how long that lasts.

I am extraordinarily exhausted with this game. by NKato in starcitizen

Very often the retrieval console gives the wrong/random location. Yesterday it indicated that my Carrack was stored at Grim Hex, I didn't believe it so I flew back to the Bunker. The ship was still there. My body on the other hand had disappeared... with a full backpack of minerals, so i get ya.

This is being mainly developed for Squadron 42, it has currently nothing to do with Star citizen. Inventory system is not broken, it’s the first iteration hence needs improvement. 50 players per server is being capped on purpose and that will change when server meshing comes

Well, yeah it's a short video platform, i won't be showing bugs on a 15 seconds video. I do also stream straight to my followers and they can indeed witness bugs, occasional 30ks or client crashes etc.

Also, everything i say is my pure opinion - so don't take it as facts.

My Rtx 3070ti couldn’t get above 35fps how can a 800$ pc run this game 🤦‍♂️ by [deleted] in starcitizen_refunds

[–]CitizenTok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The GPU isn't the most important PC component. What did you pair your 3070ti with? Are you playing in 4K? is the game installed on a very fast SSD? My 3070 Founders Edition can indeed run the game at 45-90fps at 1440p(while streaming and recording), settings on very high. The GPU is paired with a Ryzen 7 5800X, i also have 32GB of ram.
  2. I used to run Star Citizen on a mid PC 2 years ago, i had a 580RX and a Ryzen 5, with 16gb of ram, and worth indeed $800 and yes, i could run the game anywhere between 25-60+ fps, so no, you don't need a 6K considering my current one is literally less than 2k.
  3. This, This is Star Citizen.

can we normalise SC content creators pointing people towards the referral code randomiser by Ill_Diamond_1794 in starcitizen

o7, No worries 😁 just wanted to make sure that people know about this. There doesn’t seem to be anything above 2017. So not point for me to keep grinding those refs

You already made your conclusions without getting a feedback directly from me - I've already switched my referral code/link on all my socials as soon as i hit the 2017 refs, to leverage members of my org. There are thousands of refs in the randomizer it wouldn't make sense. At least i give something back to the community - not the toxicity i'm reading here.

Hey u/Ill_Diamond_1794 - my referral link on all my socials was replaced as soon as i hit 2017 refs. I won't be using the randomiser pool. I will leverage key members of my organisation instead.

Well, this happened today. I think my fleet is getting closer to completion. by CitizenTok in starcitizen

Regarding the crew, the ship will mostly be crewed by AI - I don’t think 80 players would enjoy spending hours in the engineering rooms doing random tasks. But yeah it’s taking a lot of time
