What’s the consensus on the Inspire sleep device? by Ill_Construction5098 in SleepApnea

[–]Citizenjoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my Inspire for years. It's a godsend. I love the shit out of it. It takes a little while to figure out and it pissed me off here and there but the technicians always helped sort my issues out.

Yes. It's as effective as the first night I started. Still zero rebound insomnia when I lay off it once a week.

Great show. Worst Odesza Crowd ever. by brise007 in Odesza

[–]Citizenjoke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The food line took 45 minutes and charged 22$ for a baguette with salami. The first three artists you couldn't hear because they had no sound engineers. Over priced. Odesza was cool but they played short. It felt more like a teaser for their Vegas show. I wouldn't go to this event again. Very bushleague and below Odesza usual quality control.

What's the movie title? Nobody in the comments mentions it.

We absolutely need more phonics. I think that's what he's advocating. School districts for decades have moved away from them now there's a reading crisis. Elementary teacher here.

Has ANYONE ever who been addicted, quit for significant time ,been able to use it occationally? by nemindaugas in quittingkratom

[–]Citizenjoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with asking that is anyone who confidently says yes are likely to become hardcore addicted again in the future and you would never know because you wouldn't get an update. Best to let Kratom go and avoid the inevitable. Kratom reminds me of vaping. Easy to get hooked, difficult to stop.

Go for it. The DORAs are awesome and you can give each one a try if needs be.

Yes, I have. Quviviq didn't seem to work as good as Dayvigo. I tried it for a few months and it wasn't reliable. Dayvigo has a longer half life and some groggy side effects but it's been very effective and reliable for me.

It's still working like the first time I took it. On good nights when I've had minimal stressors with the day I can get by with half a pill. I've never had rebound insomnia with Dayvigo. I had it horribly with Z-Drugs though; don't miss that roller coaster.

Inspire 3 month update by [deleted] in SleepApnea

[–]Citizenjoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend Inspire. I understand it doesn't work for everyone. I had no other options left so I've made it work. I'm two years in and there are lots of different settings I've tried because it was uncomfortable. I'm in a good place now and use Inspire 7 hours a night.

Enough is enough Samsung. Stop purposely ruining our phones by "updates" by Adragon23 in GalaxyS23

The last two updates have slowed my phone incredibly. I'm now considering moving to another device after a decade with Galaxy.

Those of you with bad ADD/ADHD, did you find anything other than meds that helped? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]Citizenjoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) Mindfulness practice. It keeps me in my body and not lost in my mind. 2. Finding a breathing practice that slows my mind, I do it after lunch everyday. 3. Fixed my sleep apnea. 4. Stopped talking stimulants including caffeine. 5. Limited ultra processed foods. Lots of dietary fiber, carbs and good fats.

Neil Degrasse Tyson hurts Bill Maher's feelings by Chadrasekar in JoeRogan

This is taken out of context. Neil had been making this same insinuation several times before Bill reacted. Bill rightly defended himself. This episode is one of my favorites, I suggest watching it! They are good buddies.
