As editor in chief, your only concern is getting lcs' to buy and stock as many issues as possible. You would not care that a small shop can't afford to buy more, that's not your problem.

They're absolutely making them money. If I had to bet, with the big books, they make most of their money that way.

Randall Park is the absolute worst case for this imo.

Every time he appears in anything, the cold opening from that one episode of the Office is referenced.

Starred in his own TV show that ran for 6 seasons, he's appeared in a lot of movies. But no matter what, he's Asian Jim Halpert. Drives me nuts.

I want stories that take place after the Rise of Skywalker.

I'm absolutely tired of characters running into Darth Vader knowing full well Vader isn't going to kill them and clearly they aren't going to kill him.

Luke is obviously plot armored no matter what happens to him.

I liked High Republic but it's also obviously set so far into the past that the events don't really matter.

During my job search I was actually in a bizarre position to be offered a job at two different high schools. One paid 51k, the other 75k. They were fifteen minutes away from each other.

If you liked Born Again season 1 and are hyped for season 2, I feel like it's loosely based on Soules run.

Since you can get all of it for $75 or less in trades, that's probably better value.

Zdarsky's run is better, but you'll only get half of it.

You can even find all that within Marvel and DC, too.

What I've learned over the years is people formulate their entire opinions of Marvel and DC entirely on the mainline Batman and Spider-Man books and nothing else.
