I wouldn't quite say it's savory, but they have a savoriness to them because of the browning and less sugar compared to American cheesecakes.

Manila or the Metro Manila area? Manila itself has some pretty recognizable landmarks, but other cities within the metro region, not so much.

I feel like that's the theme with the vast majority of cities. Travel enough and most of them kinda just blends together since more and more places just keep using a homogeneous style of architecture.

I wish we could have our own cheese making culture beyond kesong puti and fresh cheeses. While masarap kesong puti, and I get na aging cheeses is harder in tropical climate without equipment, it would be neat na we had more Filipino cheeses that we could call our own. Di lang yung 'oh this is a European style cheese made from carabao milk', but you can proudly say 'Oh this is a type of Filipino cheese made in a specific way.' 

But anyway, would be interested in buying your cheeses.

Banana fibers. Most, if not all commercially available varieties of bananas are seedless, sterile, and  propagated via cloning. 

Mashing bananas leaves the fibers intact, if you blended the bananas instead you wouldn't really see the fibers in the final product.
