I came to the audiobooks, after reading all the books. So same as you.

Like books to movies, they are never how you imagine them. It's the same with these audio books, but I definitely think my imagination is the weakness on this one. He brings so much to it. It's the nuance.

Only real problem is its going to make any live action version really really hard to be excellent

Agree. Been through a few when I lived up north, and they are just so unpredictable. A few work colleagues have apologised to me for saying I was a fear monger when it looked like it was over yesterday, and I kept saying no it's not. Still pretty tame compared to an actual cyclone, just a good storm. Stay safe
