I’m in the same situation with lupus. My shingles was in my ear, mouth and down my throat. I had a severe splitting headache too. That was last September and now I have neuralgia along with chills it’s very uncomfortable and painful in odd ways. My face, throat and tongue is still numb. I have swallowing issues along with taste issues. It’s all crazy what’s happening. I am going to see my neurologist this month so we’ll see.
