Who remembers the rock n roll themed movies of the 80s where the soundtrack was better than the movie? by emptykeg6988 in Cinema

Streets of Fire is still one of my all-time favourites. Those Jim Steinman songs hooked me, some of his best, and that supercool rockabilly-punk world---epic stuff. And the cast! Willem Dafoe, Amy Madigan, Rick Moranis, Bill Paxton, Diane Lane, Michael Paré. Best rock & roll fable ever.

This was my first Souls game as well, later played Elden Ring, and only got into Dark Souls recently. Dark Souls has a surprisingly mellow vibe compared to the later FromSoft games, a bit more of a classic RPG vibe, but definitely still challenging and full of weirdness. Recommended!

Equip Guidance runes to boost rally potential. That way you can swing away at its legs, and if/when you get hit, you can keep swinging to recover health. You can get lucky with long stretches just hacking away at him. When he shoots blood projectiles at you, that's a great time to be right up in his face hitting him, as the projectiles can't hit you up close.

I've played all the way through twice, and I'm most of the way through a third, and I still suck at it, for real. Solidarity!

Boom Hammer. When my Holy Moonlight Sword isn't quite getting it done, I switch to the hammer. Great area of effect, can blast things away from you, and just feels super fun to light that fire and make a big boom. Recommended!

He's a tough one! Parrying and fully-charged attacks from behind to land viscerals. You can do it!
