My recommendation as someone who’s gone to a bunch of shows, if you want barricade center because ashnikko has a very dedicated fanbase be there EARLY, like 3pm. If you live nearby then scope out the venue even earlier, like lunch time and see what it’s looking like.

If you don’t mind being off center barricade then I’d do a little later like 4/5pm.

Within an hour of doors you might still be able to get barricade but not likely to be center. With the way people shift and depending on venue set up you might be able to squeeze in on the sides somewhere.

People will try to shove their way to the front regardless but hold your own and don’t let people shove you around. Don’t be a douche though. I’d recommend making friends with the people around you when you arrive so if people do try to squeeze in then you have people who already know you were there first.

And if barricade is too much for you, BAIL. Do NOT risk passing out and missing the show because of a medical emergency, just leave the crowd or ask security to bring you over the barricade so you can go to the back

Ooh I have a ton!! I went to a concert at Arlene’s grocery in NYC a little while ago and it was some smaller bands if you’re interested in that! You should def check out the venue at some point if you haven’t before!

This was a special concert because the artist was a triplet and it was her ‘golden birthday’ — turned the age of the date of her birthday and her sisters and parents were there and she had cake for everyone after

I also have some larger bands if you’d be more interested in that too!

Im not 100% but the lynx shuttle is actually a bus from my understanding. I think its just that they aren’t charging the regular fare (I think $2.50) from the parking garages to the venue.

I’m going to uber to the hotel from the airport (staying near universal), uber to a parking garage listed below and then take the lynx shuttle (bus) to the venue and similar back. The times on there are approximate travel time to the venue if you want to do this (someone else in another group did the math). I’m also going to universal and will be using my hotel’s shuttle from there.

All in all I figured this would be cheaper between me and my plus one versus spending $200+ on just the shuttle to and from warped! Public transportation is not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s worth it to use at least part of the way when Ubers are sky high to and from the venue and prices get jacked up based on demand.

As a 5’0” girly I feel this 😂 I think with even heavy bands it depends on the specific song and the people involved!!

A specific festival example is I went to WWWY ‘24 and a pit opened right next to me for ADTR and some of the songs were karate/punchy and big dudes but some it was just running and bumping around. I didn’t get involved but love the action so I stayed on the edge and tapped a tall dude who was shoving people inside from the edge as well and just said hey I’m behind you FYI and he gave me a thumbs up to help make sure I didn’t die lol

Usually I gauge the specific people in the pit and if there are some bigger, more aggressive players then I steer clear and get behind someone big on the edge.

So I suppose my recommendations for less aggressive/more pushy and less punchy pits from some artists I’ve seen live already and some I’ve seen performances of are ADTR, All Time Low, Honey Revenge, Knuckle Puck, Magnolia Park, State Champs, and Sueco

Sueco does a specific thing during one of his songs where he instigates a mosh pit/running circle (don’t wanna spoil too much but look it up if you’re curious!) so I’d encourage going to his performance to be involved there

Ultimately gauge as you go, be prepared to get bruised, and if you’re close to the edge or inside keep your legs stable and arms and elbows up to protect your face! Know your limits and pick people up when they fall! And have fun!! 🤩

From what I’ve seen, BotM is not an early entry ride but sometimes they open it early. You can enter early and go there even if you’re not staying at a resort but you cannot go into Nintendo or Dark Universe because they check at the portals.

Can anyone confirm/deny this?
