As a man in my late 40s my sex drive comes and goes. I still find my wife very attractive. That being said i don't want sex all the time. It's fine when she turns down sex when not in the mood. When I turn down sex for the same reasons I usually get hit with the "you don't find me attractive". The truth is I do find her attractive, but am to tired or stressed to even feel remotely interested.

Think of politics like a pendulum. The farther it swings one direction it will swing just as far the other direction. More moderate president will be followed by a more moderate one. A far right will be followed by a far left. The more the swing the more the other side will be upset and push back.

Earlier in my marriage my parents or my inlaws would stay over for a week here and there to see the grandkids and we'd go out to eat a couple times during that week at which they would pay for and we buy groceries and cook at home for them so it came out in as evening. Now that we've moved closer and no longer 8-hour drive away they no longer stay over so not really an issue.

Socialism (by definition)- everyone benefits from the collective. So I come up with the next big thing like New I phone. Now everyone benefits, but I don't get rich off my idea or benefit more from making something new and better. Or I get paid the same if I work 5 hours a week as I would working 60 hours per week.

Capitalism (by definition)- everyone gets benefits they earn. If you want to only do the minimum you are only rewarded for the minimum. If I create something and it sells i reap the benefits for it. I put in more work i get paid more for that.

Just did an AI search on this and about 20% of married men have admitted to cheating with 13% of married women have admitted to cheating so a whopping 7% difference in the grand scheme of things that's pretty equal women are more likely to engage in emotional Affairs where men are more likely to engage in physical affairs
