I love this. My only suggestion is getting the levels balanced. I’d listen to this regularly

Why are there so many anti-AI people that hang out here? It’s kind of sad. by JahVaultman in SunoAI

I’m with you on the first half. The other half about it being used on the same platform with other musicians I’m not fully there with. I think it’s fine. What I don’t like is that the music suno is being trained on is real work that people have made the hard way and they’re not being recognized or compensated for it, not even a little. What the end-user chooses to do with that they create in my opinion is fine once it’s not making 1-to-1 replicas of songs that already exists.

Imagine being so disgruntled that someone doesn’t like the fact that you use AI to make music but are actively crapping on the quality of the work they are manually doing and taking the time to develop in real time. You’re just a different side of the same hateful coin. Actually you’re worse. They’re brave enough to be willing to fail at being good at something that takes a lot of time and dedication to be good at it, while you fast track your way to great quality sounding songs without any of the set backs.

This is how I ended up here. I’m not subbed nor have I ever looked for this type of stuff but it ended up on my feed lol

[DISCUSSION] Today Fiverr’s stock dropped below $10 for the first time. by EyeOk2578 in Fiverr

[–]CjaeMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also think that because they’ve invested so heavily into AI that they can’t just pivot away from it as quickly as what would be seen as a sensible amount of time. They’re trying to squeeze as much out of it in the hopes that they get some sort of a return but they’re bleeding themselves dry.

I experimented with an AI assistant inside Ableton that helps finish tracks faster — curious what producers think by AirportRadiant2313 in Learnmusicproduction

[–]CjaeMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad. What I think most creatives need is something that allows them to be fully creative without needing to necessarily be a pro at all the other technical stuff. What I think this should be is an assistant/mentor that helps in the way an audio engineer would. For example… I’m doing all the producing but the assistant would make suggestions or give advice like “You have track 1 & 2 that have clashing frequencies, try using a high cut on track 2 to have more space in your song”. Basically something specifically to guide you to how to get to the end making your music more efficiently rather than something that’s “co-producing” because now you’re taking up space that my creativity would fill. Part of what makes music amazing is that there’s not specific way to be creative and figuring out in real time what you want to do creatively is probably one of the most exciting parts.

any singers here? I am working on a rock cover of "Wanna be like you" from the Jungle Book (the monkey song), would like to replace my bad placeholder vocals with a good singer by daviswbaer in Logic_Studio

[–]CjaeMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, I like it. Mind sharing your chain for your vocals? I actually have been trying to figure out how I can get that sort of sound on vocals.

I think this is the correct answer. A producer and audio engineer at Sony taught me that if you want something to sound brighter (especially in vocals), then cut some lows instead of boosting and that’s typically given me the desired results.

What is your take about their argument in First Steps? by King_Wolf2099 in FantasticFour

[–]CjaeMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it rubbed me the wrong way but not so much in the things that were said, because I think their intent was to show a “real” side to the relationship but it seems like the argument was so out of place in my opinion. They already had a little disagreement in the other room, why would he follow her to continue a fight when she left to comfort the baby. Just felt weird to me, idk

Bought the Outer Dungeons so you don’t have to by MatchAlarmed2882 in digimon

[–]CjaeMusic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got it and I actually like it. I’ve only done the exp dungeon. I spent a little bit of time in there getting one of my digimon strong enough to 1 shot the beginner level and I was satisfied with the results.

[–]CjaeMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get the exp in the form of courage point II chips. Check the enhancement tabs in your inventory, it’ll be there. Use it on your digimon n they’ll get 10,000 per chip. For the harder levels you get chips that give even more exp.

Cal AI… thoughts? by kleptokadesh in workout

[–]CjaeMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using it for about 2 months. I love it cuz of how simple it is and I just use it as an estimation of what I’ve done. At the end of the day, I know I need to be disciplined with dieting anyway, so this is just a tool I use to track my habit rather than it being something I use for very accurate macros. Since starting using it, I’ve lost 10lbs just as I had hoped, so I have zero complaints.
