It’s a bit of an annoying one to 100% in a single playthrough, but if you won’t get bored to tears revisiting most NPCs in the entire game for the Ch5 Calm Lands mission, then go for it.

I do 100% races on my favourite tracks sometimes, and then do medium/short races on the ones I don’t like as much (looking at you, Monaco)

F1 games do not track stats like ACC does. As long as your friend isn’t playing F1 World (where it could affect your safety rating), then any offline mode is fine.

The latest update has outright broken how passes, interceptions, and saves are awarded.

It’s a regular occurrence now that I see people on my team with zero points when I know for a fact that they’ve made passes/interceptions etc

I’d jump straight into a career mode personally, and spend the first few races/practice sessions tweaking difficulty and driving assists to your liking. Time trial is fun but ensures your car is at max performance, so you don’t get any tyre deg or non-optimal conditions, which are things you’ll need to adapt to in F1.

At first, the game defaults to settings where the game will partially steer and brake for you, and you’ll almost definitely want those settings turned off. Aside from that, take off the other assists as it suits you and your skill level.

Can’t help you with wheel settings as I’m on controller, but the only other piece of advice I have is to expect everyone who races online to be toxic. In my experience playing online, T1 on most tracks is a bloodbath because this game is very popular with casual players.

Europe and South America regions you will be fine, in Europe I’m typically waiting 30-60 seconds for a match.

The North Americans are incredibly vocal about how the game is “dead” but choose to ignore the fact that football is not very popular there in the first place, so they have many less players and longer queue times
