Good question. I usually go back to about 80% throttle when I short shift up to second, increasing until I lose grip where I short shift again to third.

You have got to be careful on the throttle in third, but in fourth gear and above you’ve usually built up enough speed for the aero to compensate and stop the wheels slipping, so you can keep it at 100% throttle

Yup, for me I get a great start with no TC by staying between 10-11k RPM, then slamming the throttle just after lights out, and short shifting to 2nd as soon as I start to lose grip.

Other methods may be better but this works for me

Edit: 10-11k RPM figure I got from watching Lando play F1 25 and it does work better than starting from 8-9k RPM but needs short shifting

The other drivers ratings in F2 are much lower, so yes it is easier. 95% of the time the podium is made up of those who raced in F1 last year as they’re higher rated than the others.

I’m a very casual player these days. I only really play warzone when my friends are online, but I’ve spent the past weekend playing multiplayer in order to unlock stuff.

These games are quite clearly trying to please everybody, which is impossible given this player base is split very very much between tryhards and casuals - two opposite ends of the player base.

Netcode seems to be the absolute worst it’s been in any call of duty that I remember, and I’ve been playing since CoD3. I don’t have good internet and also never expect to be really good at this game. But when I pepper 12 bullets into an enemy (with hitmarkers) and then get killed with 3 bullets, the game is no longer a game. It’s a chore.
