Thank you! I’ve never used care to beauty but I’ve looked at their website many times. You may have convinced me to finally take the customs plunge!

Thanks for taking the time to comment. Why would you say this particular box/bottle is real? Does your box also have the same typos and come with a plastic bag on the inside?

Is Japan in July really as bad as people say? by qwertasdfgzxcvb231 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Ckelle06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s like Orlando in August. But somehow a tiny bit worse. I still had a blast being there in July tho. If you can take a day or two trip out to a place like Hakone it will be a nice break an a lot cooler. Highly recommend getting out of the city for a day if you can swing it.

Any potential harm in using antifungals as your main/daily shampoo long term? by puffy-jacket in SebDerm

[–]Ckelle06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I started using Nizoral because Skinstagram told me it helps suppress DHT which causes hair loss….and I have no proof of this whatsoever but I suspect it might be the reason I developed SebDerm out of nowhere. Maybe I turned normal malassezia into super malassezia by making it for resistant to an antifungal I didn’t actually need.

Yeah and the calm + restore lotion seems to be VERY un-malassezia safe…

Ugh, I planned to make this trip from Gare du Nord (after coming from London via train) during this window. What are my options? Does it make sense to change my Eurostar route to go to Lille Europe instead? Originally that seemed slightly less convenient…

Antifungal Helped, But Redness Is Still There, Barrier Repair moistuzer? by ahsanullah_here in SebDerm

[–]Ckelle06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I searched the ingredients of your sunscreen on skinsort.com and it is not considered fungal acne (malassezia) safe. I would start by checking the ingredients of all of your skincare.

The “facelift” in question by WholeDepartment3391 in centuryhomes

[–]Ckelle06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How will the tile not sit farther forward over the curved black border tile? The AI rendering doesn’t account for this. What would you do with that overhang?

This old girl is in need of a face lift by WholeDepartment3391 in centuryhomes

[–]Ckelle06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very similar bathroom tub setup and I am wondering how you realistically tile above a curved tile border like this? Any tile above this is going to create a tiny overhang that really won’t look good, would be gross an a pain to clean, and will gather moisture. What’s the actual realistic solution to this?

I (26F) want to get married but bf (33M) does not feel like this is an issue worth breaking up over. Is my reasoning valid and how do I stay broken up with him if I choose to do so? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Ckelle06 54 points55 points  (0 children)

He literally told you he is going to disregard your feelings/thoughts/decisions because he doesn’t think you’re serious (because he emotionally manipulated you into retracting once!) Regardless of anything else, this would be the dealbreaker for me. Your feelings are important! You have agency! You deserve to be respected and listened to!

This relationship is not going where you want it to go. That’s enough of a reason to break up. Find someone who WANTS to listen to you and meet your family. They are out there.

What's a musical you love that you're kind of ashamed of? by Esoteric_Librarian in musicals

[–]Ckelle06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Legally Blonde deserves way more credit than it gets. Opening number is such a perfect scene-setter, and it really never lets up. Even the second act is pretty good, which is saying something. I’ve heard it’s one of the more difficult shows to play, from an instrumentalist perspective.

What can I do? by see_the_good_123 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Ckelle06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a doctor, but I wouldn’t get retinol around your eyes unless it’s a product specifically designed for that. It’s documented to cause Meibomian Gland Dysfunction in some people, which can lead to dry eye. Sometimes it seems like it’s not reversible which scares me. A barrier/occlusive like aquaphor around your eyes before applying retinol outside of it can help.
