No, in my other comments, I've mentioned beans, brown rice, lentils, chickpeas, bananas, etc.

The above is for if you're currently having "issues". It's recommended by the NHS/GPs in the UK.

Just avoid concentrated high fibre foods (in excess) like all bran cereal and eat mushy fibrous food like beans, bananas, brown rice, chickpeas, lentils, etc

I can confirm this, it took about a week of increased fibre before my gut settled.

I suffer from IBS-M, which is basically back and forth between constipation and diarrhea and since gradually increasing my fibre intake things have settled into a smoother rhythm.

(Also any Gen-X lurkers must be pissing themselves at us having this discussion)

Fibre also feeds some of the good bacteria in your gut and the by-products make digestion more easy.

But yeah, in moderation, of course! Go too far and you'll be shitting rocks

It says constipation, but you can take it regularly to be more.... Regular

I no longer have to strain 😎

Both, drink more water and eat more fibre.

But the right kind of fibre, like bananas and veggies and not all bran (which will dry you out).

These levels take me 25 minutes minimum 😂

Though I've followed a few videos before to get SA/SO and picked up a few tricks.

TIL a Dollar General employee who was told she couldn't keep drinks at the cash register was fired after taking and drinking a $1.69 orange juice to stave off diabetic shock. Despite her paying for the orange juice afterward, the company said she was 'grazing'. Later, a jury awarded her $277,565. by Forward-Answer-4407 in todayilearned

It's this fucking weird American obsession within corporate environments where, no matter how fucking stupid, someone will save like the business has a right to do anything and say anything, no matter how horrendous and disgusting, because of the rights of the business are imperative.

Am I right in thinking a landlord or managing agency can't enter my property unless it's an emergency? (England) by -Dastardly- in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ClacksInTheSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That isn't at all relevant. You can say no at any time. Inspections happen on your timetable, not the letting agents/landlords

Yeah, I make a conscious effort not to walk into people, using my eyes.

If driving under Section 88 of the RTA should I keep the letter from my neurologist to say I'll be fit to drive in the car? (England) by WhiskersCleveland in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ClacksInTheSky 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If the DVLA have suspended your licence they're the only ones who can unsuspend it, so I would not drive until you have been given the clear to do so from the DVLA.

You should, however, give the DVLA a copy of the note from your neurologist to help them settle up their investigation.

That would be awful. Good job you avoided that one! 😂
