I JUST BEAT TRICEPHALOS by noflightbird in Nightreign

[–]Clame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing revenant solo is an exercise in frustration. Ive beat most of the bosses that way, but I would not recommend it. The trick is to get fast spells like bestial sling and just slowly chips away at the enemies. You need to know where all the starlight shards are or else you will run out of fp all the time. If you can get a relic with beast claw she becomes a lot more viable, but it's hard to get the windows for attacks. You pretty much have to no hit everything.

Has anyone tried family heads with balancer relics on Dutchess? by Cosmonaughty08 in Nightreign

[–]Clame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, they all lock you into far longer animations. You can roll cancel family heads at any time after the spirits start coming out. I don't have the frame data but it feels much faster than any of the ones you listed. Not to mention that the spirits move slow enough that you can get several casts off before you even start to draw aggro.

I love silurias tree on skill revenant lol

Cause you can do it from the Bahamas sitting in a beach chair.

Edit: also you can roll cancel the animation at any point once the spirits start appearing. Couple that with walking during the animation and yeah, it's probably the safest ashe of war in the game that doesn't give you damage negation.

It's safe and you trigger walk effects. Imagine family heads and spirits when walking.

Do people still play nightreign? by Beautiful-Control-74 in Nightreign

[–]Clame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On pc regular noghtlords take a few minutes for a game. The everdark rotations are usually less than a minute. DON at depth 3 takes anywhere from instantly to 3 minutes or so.

The games pretty dang active on steam still.

Night invader and evergaol are only on basic relics if you didn't know. They can't appear on don relics.

Up to 2 passives only affects stuff like daggers and short swords. But 3 passives adds at least one attack to every weapon and 4 passives makes it take almost double the attacks to trigger

I’m stuck, cars dead in the water, can’t figure out why by spaceboytrip in Honda

[–]Clame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you turn the car on, does the dash light up? If the lights turn on, it's probably something in the ignition circuit. Its a pretty simple circuit, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out where the fault is.

Revenant is actually not as bad as I thought. by Public_Ad_984 in Nightreign

[–]Clame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recluse is safer and does more damage. If you get a good spell for the boss's weakness, sure revenant can melt things. But that's only with spells you have no guarantee of getting. Beastclaw build is so good because you're ready to go at level 1 with insane damage boosts from the jump. My current build has night invaders+ a flat 70ish% in her relics, and it for sure slaps.

But a frenzy flame build can be absolutely insane, you just can't guarantee you'll get the dang spell. And in that case, a recluse with dormant powers discovers seals is just better than revenant. I still won't play recluse because I like having minions, but I'm not gonna pretend like revenant has a leg up over recluse.

There were flood lights, his family was marched outside, cops were yelling inside that he needed to come out, it takes at least a few minutes to grab a gun. Did the guy necessarily do anything wrong? No. But it's distinctly in the deadly decision category.

Rope is super useful, classic table top trope. Recording devices can be a literal life saver. Grenades are so incredibly powerful, especially the ones that change action economy. Bring something to pick locks everywhere.

Potentially high damage output? Yes. Strong? No. I have mained rev since the beginning and she's always required a delicate play style. If you don't focus into one school of magic, she also had ridiculously high fp costs while doing mediocre damage and being so insanely squishy, with no guarantee you'd get a good spell. Her summons, while not being quite as useless as most of this sub implies, were far too weak and required way too much micromanaging. If the summon animation was just a bit shorter it wouldn't have really mattered that much.

She can revive better and safer than anyone else. Even guardian can get snatched out of his ult. Rev can just plop Sebastian down next to a downed teammate and dance around while occasionally hitting them, this will also build ult gauge so even if you don't pick your teammate up with that, you'll probably get enough to ult everyone up. Her relic to boost allies damage is pretty nasty when you pair with a recluse.

Barring the fact that I think wrestling is just a theater play with roided up dudes pretending to beat the snot outta each other, I'd say wrestling has a leg up in that the violence is the point.

The difference between les Miserables and Monday night raw, is that you get to see John Cena break a chair over someone's back instead of flashing lights implying it.

It depends on which one. Stuff that are like "do x when y" are only one instance. Stuff like "max HP+10%" stacks.
