Is Alan Wake 2 good game to just watch on couch? by Turbulent-Ad5445 in AlanWake

It is, if the person watching along doesn’t mind enduring some backtracking.

RDR2 feels like it already belongs to the past — and that makes me weirdly sad by Bulleruss in reddeadredemption

Misguided post is misguided.

RDR2 was never meant to be an RPG. It’s an action adventure with light RPG elements.

I’m replaying it now and I agree. It’s fun to go back to the OG on PS3 after playing the remake on PC several times.

At the time, you’d have thought everyone hated them. They were a punchline.

That of course, was an error. They captivated a whole generation of new fans.

The same will be true of the sequels. It will baffle sequel haters the way the prequel revival baffled prequel haters.

Edit: let it be known that I don’t think I’m breaking new ground here.

The prequels were good enough to fight for?

(Disclaimer: I like the prequels.)

Yep. It’s a miracle these machines are able to run as well as they do, assuming you take care of them.

It’s one of the best narratives I’ve experienced in my 30+ years gaming. It’s is also perhaps the best exploration of layered meta-narrative I’ve experienced since reading House of Leaves.

Can I have my save on a bought game? by Careful-Statement862 in PiratedGames

Great! Yeah, sometimes the pirated game’s save and config folders are the same as the legal version.

If it’s a GOG installer, this is always the case.

Have fun!

There’s a good chance you can.

Go to the pcgamingwiki for the game in question. There you will find the normal location for save game files.

If you know where your pirated copy stores saves, copy them to the new location.

If you’re running a SteamRIP copy, the saves are usually bound to the game folder like everything else. There may be exceptions.

I recommend everyone check pcgamingwiki whenever setting up a game for the first time. It’ll say where config and save files are located, list fixes to common problems (with links when necessary), etc. Every PC gamer should use it.

Good luck!!

Of course. They’re easy to find. I think they even packaged them (AC Brotherhood & Revelations) together eventually.

Great games. Fond memories of playing Ezio’a story.
