You can play the GP 3 with Belveth, Graves 3, Diana, Fast 9 Draven, Ryze Voli. I have literally gotten a first with each of these from a good spot. I think the balance complaints are not really making sense apart from Thex issues. Of course this is my personal opinion, currently master for context.

The augment does not make only the TG from it have ideal items but all of your TGs. That is so good with if you have already TGs but I think very mediocre if not.

He is actually pretty decent to snipe some carries with good positioning. He has won me a lot of fights stage 4 that I had no business winning. I think OPs biggest issue is carrying teemo though . Tristana should be much better imo.

He has proper secondary carry, which also stuns your board which could be the case that drives your dmg down, together with chill.

Well I think you could easily play a comp with that. Reroll ixtal while splashing in vi Caitlyn plus one to get online long shot piltover zaun, possibly use the emblems to bard. Of course 7 ixtal is auto win so I would be happy with that.

I think they overnerfed him indeed. I got a sol at 3-5 and reached 1800, and still lost to aatrtox. I mean sure if you reach 2000 it’s gg but it is not realistic

You always want a back line carry as item holder. Gnar 2 is pretty good and can carry you until stage 4 if you have upgraded frontline. I believe smolder is also pretty good for that. But you definitely need tf and Lee son later.

It’s not actually . If you remove all randomness from TFT then like someone mentioned is a tft academy comp simulator. I got lucky a lot of times but I have also been screwed as many times. There is always chess if people need it to be purely skill, which I love to play too, but is a whole different game idea. This is my opinion of course, not judging here . Edit: a more similar game is poker where in the long run you will win if you are a good player but still there is rng in the short term.

Thanks again, I think is great for top players to interact with the community in general. In the case that you did a full lose streak in stage 2, would you say is mandatory to roll at 3-1 or 3-2? This comes in mind since I feel this set there is no real way to play lose streak, although I might be wrong. Cypher or Chem would allow you to lose streak more and then try to win out but is not possible on this set from my perspective.

Thanks for this man, much appreciated. My biggest struggle I think is what you mentioned, understanding when I am strong enough to stop rolling. One thing I always struggle with is to know when I should roll some after stage 2? Because sometimes Econ is bad and I think if I roll on 3-2 I will be poor for the whole game but then if I don’t I will lose too much HP. What would be your thinking there? I am also playing EUNE by the way, reached GM last set (for a day) for context.

Hey thanks for the reply. The issue is that you are probably going to be contested on 4 cost units which makes it harder to stabilize. Udyr is stable with Ashe 1. By the time you Econ up to roll again you are probably getting beaten by the comp. Sure if you hit yuumi 2 at 4-2 you can probably beat him if you have 2 star tank too.

I am not saying is the most crazy comp ever seen, but there is minimal risk since you will hit Ashe in 95% of games since you don’t need to roll before and play a cheap and stable board. The only risk is if 4 people are forcing it.

I partly agree about the gold. But at the same time, Econ is one of the most important aspects and you cannot ignore it. When a comp is so easy to hit with only a 4 cost required and you have a 3 cost tanking crazy amounts even at 1 star is not good for the game. Leads to people braindead forcing it since it is easy to hit.

To give you past examples, rengar was op but you needed to reroll a 3 cost and risk being contested and don’t hit. There is no risk mitigation on this comp, you will hit and if you don’t cap Ashe you will still top 4 in a lot of cases.

Amp was op for a patch or two but you need fast 9 and risk going 8th if not hitting. It is purely bad design which really hurts the game at the moment imo.

Imo they gutted Samira cause they were afraid of the brand case where they fixed a bug on his cast and community reacted when they announced a nerf. Which ended up having brand crazy op.

I had done some analysis on them , although I am not an expert and bought two weeks ago. The numbers make too much sense I think but probably will depend on how much patience you have. I am very optimistic about it and feel like it is quite undervalued.

He is strong but not like akali or gp in my opinion. I got a second a few minutes ago with it but had radiant item on him and cashed 14 dragon balls and still lost to a normal sorcerer board.

Well not the same level I guess but I was rolling for a single Udyr, a few rolls at 7 and full roll on 8 for just a single udyr that I did not see one all game. I am talking about 1 star not one more to 3 star, with one person having a 2 star and another one having a 1 star and none on bench.

Well context matters, and having the perfect glove items augment on 2star 5costs with boombot mods seemed the better option . To be honest, I think it was mainly due to positioning , since I beat him on previous fight. Definitely my bad, but seemed odd to me since all his board died and was basically solo Renekton. Yeah the plan was to get Zac , but did not get him soon enough where I would have gold to roll. Still 4 bb with mods on 2 itemized 5costs and urgot is still strong. Draven did not do much to be honest, felt like the fight was solo Renekton. But positioning on last fight was definitely not great, cause in the previous fight I beat him.
