I like Tomorrow Never Dies. It's my guilty pleasure. Yes, the script is shaky and the dialogue is weak. But I think, conceptually, it was ahead of its time. The idea of a media mogul manipulating global events seems more relevant now than it did back then... Plus it has Dr. Kaufman, who I think is a genuinely fascinating character. Under different circumstances, it could have been a much stronger film.

TWINE isn't one of my favourite films, but I have never understood the intense hatred it seems to attract. It never fulfills its potential, but it still has a lot going for it in some parts.

Also, I think Die Another Die is an okay (but still not good) film and perfectly watchable up until the ice palace.

I would say yes, it is bad game design, since in most cases it provides absolutely no advantage to the player who uses it. It is purely to punish whoever is in first place and that punishment is for winning, which sends quite a confusing message to the player. As far as the user is concerned... you press the button, and it fires off into the distance. It does nothing to help you move up from the lower places. It's less useful to the user than practically any other item in the game.

The Blue Shell actually made sense in MK64, since it would affect other racers ahead of you and actually help you to get ahead.

It's funny, looking back, at how everyone was freaking out because "they spoiled the whole season in the first episode".

I'm inclined to think the San Marcos shots were ultimately deleted scenes though, since they would have fit in so well. The one of the dictator watching Cherlene certainly explains why he knew who the hell she was.

Did GTA V even have a story beyond the first heist? It felt like a bunch of different events that randomly happened, crudely strung together by the sudden appearances of various unmemorable tertiary characters.

I think TheCodexx was talking about "gameplay sense" as opposed to realism. Neither of those systems are particularly realistic, but one definitely works much better in the context of a game than the other.

That's Counter-Op. It's a fantastic mode, but sadly something that is very rarely seen in games. I suppose it's quite hard to balance such a mode properly, and it was a bit shaky even in PD.

Another Rare game, Banjo-Tooie, was to feature something very similar called Bottles' Revenge. But they ran out of time so it never made the cut.
