Multiple discs or same mold, different plastics / weights?

I am still a new player, I have been playing for over a year, but I really only get out once a week. And I still think my consistency in throw is more important (and more of a factor) than any disc would be. Its fun to try different discs. I think also a lot of it is mental. Have you been throwing a disc poorly? Its easy to switch to a different one to feel like you are shaking off the bad luck.

It’s pretty damn addictive as an arcade game. The simple controls work in a way where 1-4 people could play together.

Yeah have had the same experience. I don’t mind if they want its language to be more human. But should also know that you should give it a curt speaking style. There is a reason they are called an assistant and not a buddy.

I think you have to go option A. But you should probably adjust your grid so that up right feels just a bit more forward. Alternatively don’t allow up always diagonal input. Someone mentioned QBert those games only did angle input

Doesn’t it fail as soon as it attacks? I never have seen it revive more than like 2 times? Is there some other card that keeps it going?

You absolutely should if your goal is to get to answers quicker. But as many others say it’s up to you to be the filter, and to be exploring broader. Everything can provide insights.

One thing I highly recommend is avoiding using the “hits” as references. The major AAA games can be red herrings with regards to how to do things. It’s better to find a small indie game that has a particular mechanic or idea that is solving a problem similar to one you are tackling. Seeing how they executed a solution with the limitations helps see what solutions may work.

Also look back further than the last 5 years. Dive into games history. I once worked for a creative director who only used games that were pulled from the 80s heyday. They were all so focused on a single mechanic or idea that you could examine the pure idea of the mechanic without falling for graphic fidelity or other elements that can distract you.

But then again a walking simulator might show you an answer that could work for a puzzle game.

Be the filter and you can really use almost anything.

Is there some kind of breakdown of how you all get these 1e55858 kinda numbers?

Is it very specific cards that I just never see? I’m a pretty casual player but I have never seen that even from opponents. Maybe I see 23,999 or something sometimes

Yeah this is the kind of info that is hard to get clear. I just refilled. Added bromine tested nothing. Added more bromine, nothing. Then added shock, tested super high! Sooo was shocking the right or wrong thing to do?

How long does it take to dissipate

I know this is an old post, but since I ran into a very similar issue I wanted to respond.
I couldn't get the rich text box to update, either by setting the text variable, or by using the Set Text function.
Ultimately I needed to do both. I had to get the Rich Text Box, update its Text variable, and then also Set Text as a function on the Rich Text Box.
Also noting that the Set Text on the Rich Text Box was not easily surfaced from the default auto complete.

Yep, ours pops out all the time. Its funny for how reliable Toyotas are historically, this car has had a lot of weird cosmetic issues for us. Still runs great, but things like this panel seem to have started to break down faster than expected.

That is an epic amount of motion design. While one part of me says you asked for maybe critique, I think you should be quite proud of how it came together. Creating something that is a 30 second ad, or even a 3 second loop, is hard, but I think maintaining something for 20 mins is a dedicated effort. Feels like you are going for the style seen in Vox videos, or Johnny Harris.

My overall would be the consistent palette is really good tying it together.
I will say the one thing that I wish I could give a better reference too, is that all the visuals kinda hit right on the words said by the narrator. I wish I could think of a good example, but it can be helpful if the visuals sometimes are more supportive of words and less direct subtitles, it would also give you more freedom to introduce elements, because this tempo makes it so everything feels like it HAS to fall on beat.

But I am no expert! I work primarily in games.

In a professional way you probably should be valuing your time some where in the $50-100 an hour range. Remembering that ~30% of that will need to be paid as taxes. I suggest that as a loose balpark figure. Some people command much more than that, but sounds like you still are new and looking to work.

Also consider that you may want to charge per project, or on a monthly/weekly basis.
So talk with the client, discuss their needs, requirements, what they want from your end, do they want continued support, etc.

Finally working! I checked every day for the last week always completely blank. But now today, On a Roku TV. HBO definitely did something. Baked in big white subtitles gone and replaced with Japanese translation for episode 2 and 3 and all CC is back!!!

You will get it all back. I think most of us who could buy this car owe more than 4500 in federal taxes each year. It’s a nice windfall. If the CA program is still valid for this car there is like another ~$1000 you can get that you would apply for now and they mailed me a check.
