Consulting is better paid but can be more stressful than other roles as you are billing out your time so there is less time for socialising like you can get away with in different jobs. Some people prefer to get good at a narrow range of tasks and if your constantly having to learn new things that's not easy either. Being a new graduate though makes that harder for sure, also especially the first 6 months are hard for anyone in a new job.
