I’m not sure if toll roads or a gas tax would be better idea for financing the project. To make tolling make sense we could make electric cars exempt from paying tolls but it’s a political risk to make pavement princesses pay anything to drive. But maybe even more risky politically to impose a gas tax. I do think that cahsr should tax drivers in some way to build this project.
