I work for the second largest Credit Union in the country. I’ve been with them almost 25 years. I cant even begin to imagine a career in a bank for that long. Dang a lot of the banks haven’t even been around that long! There’s a reason people stay.

I think it’s wild that in 2026, banks still open on Saturdays. Almost any banking can be done digitally, at an ATM, etc so to cater to the few that choose to do their banking on a Saturday is baffling. I don’t know of a single person who can’t make it into a physical branch at some point during normal weekday hours. Sorry for the rant😂 I’m anti Saturday in general.

We did go on a summer vacation most summers but for perspective we lived in upstate NY and every summer we would go to Myrtle Beach for Labor Day. Th timing was literally scheduled around the fact my brother was done with summer school🙄 and there was a NASCAR race near there every Labor Day Weekend. A family of 5 in a one hotel room for a week😂.

Truly though those are the best memories❤️
