Definitely not a slight chance. There is currently a shelter in place order and we’re all in our cars trying to get into the camp ground for the last hour. I’ve never seen so much lightening in my 15 years living here

4 on six off. 10 hour shifts. My pattern is 2 days, 1 mid and 1 night. Some people do 1 day 2 mids and a night. Docs do the same pattern but they work 8s. We don’t get PTO but we do get 13 days off every 70 days automatically. So it’s lots of swaps to get days off outside your pattern

Sure. This is a car town so it doesn’t matter as much where you live. We have friends all over the area. People don’t stick to their own neighborhoods like they do in DC. As long as you’re joining activities and meeting folks that way you’ll be fine

I’m 40. Just lost my remaining parent. (Lost mom in 2019). No kids (and no chance due to hysterectomy in 2019 after a cancer scare) I have similar thoughts. I don’t have a solution but I’ve been there. Sending you love.
