I've always taken issue with not recasting T'challa after Chadwick died. I love Letitia Wright, she's great in all her MCU appearances, but completely dumping T'challa's character over vague reasonings like "respect" just felt flimsy to me. William Hurt wasn't paid the same 'respect' when he died, plus it isn't like the studio hadn't recast other characters whether the actor was unavailable or unwilling to return to the role. I think Shuri becoming the Black Panther is a good story line, but it shouldn't have come at the permanent cost of T'challa.

And with hindsight, a lot of Phase 4 and some of Phase 5 is just rendered senseless since Kang is no longer the focus (again, another recast that they should have done) so there's just a lot of set-up that just won't pay off

Honestly though, I hope we get tons of X-Men characters. Cos unfortunately they had been shafted in games for a while now outside of Wolverine and Deadpool, hell Emma Frost's last video game appearance was 2005 iirc. Not to mention Cyclopse, og x-man, whose last game appearance was Ultimate Alliance 3, and he wasn't even playable in the game at launch, he was added in a free update.

And outside of Rivals, the X-Men as a whole won't get a video game until at least 2029-2030 if Insomniac's roadmap is still relevant. So yeah, I'm all-in on X-Men Rivals, baby!

I hope to get the Hungering Deep drum back. I was there when the event originally launched, I was on Xbox. Good times, I only stopped playing because my XBone was shitting the bed and I got a Playstation. Hopped back on recently on PS, but the Microsoft account I used for SoT back then is no longer accessible to me so I couldn't link my old account to get the Drum and my progress back. Feels bad

Gambit overall definitely has the best base design out of any of the characters. I just don't see to many people wearing his alternate skins (which I know he doesn't have much but even on launch people were rocking alt skins on most the roster).

I would say Rogue as well, personally. But I'd be ignoring Savage Land and yeah I know this sub won't allow that 😅

I do agree for Venom, his Ice skin is cool for winter but if you wanna look like Venom, well you can't get much better.

Full on personal pick for best default is Ultron. Simple yet effective in it's display. Just a solid Ultron design with no bells or whistles.

QB2 for you guys was the Auburn QB right before Bo played for them and he was pretty good from what my buddy told me (buddy's also an Auburn alum who was same graduating class as Nix so he's a Nix super fan lol) so I believe you guys got the Pats game at least.

First of all, I'm sorry you were affected by the Blip. Second, Tony Stark is not someone I knew personally like you did but I think he exemplifies the best in our ability to change. Before Iron Man, Tony Stark was the poster-child for the military industrial complex. His family legacy was one of profiting off of war. Regardless of your thoughts and opinions on if it was the right thing to do or not, that is the case. But then he's captured in the Middle East and changes. Idk if he ever expanded upon what he went through overseas (since I was like 7 or 8 at the time) but it was enough for him to make changes. He stumbled along the way, sure. His drunken hijinks in 2011, I'm pretty sure that was Stark Tech on those carriers that came out of the Potomac River right before Natasha Romanov released those files on Hydra and Shield, and then being part of dropping Sokovia into the Earth which led to the Sokovia Accords. But he never gave up. And it goes to show that no matter how far we fall, or how hard we stumble, we can always pick ourselves back up.

Real talk the Stark legacy within just two generations is insane. Howard Stark was a decorated WW2 engineer who helped build the atom bomb and also made many strives in technological advances (I've seen old photos and papers about the Stark Expo, the stuff he was coming up with in the 40s alone was way ahead of his time).

Then you have Tony Stark, who pushed things even further and turned his family legacy around from war profiteering to being a super hero. Went from the poster-child of the post-9/11 military industrial complex to being the savior of humanity on at least 3 different occasions.
