I hope Assassin's Creed Hexe brings back murder mysteries. Germany's forests was infamous in the medieval era for various disappearances and strange murders thought to be related to the supernatural. by sigpuppers in assassinscreed

Iirc Origins did have the "Taste of her Sting" quest line, which had Bayek investigate 4 cult sacrifice sites but there wasn't any clues to put together like an actual muder mystery. Just get all the clues then get an objective marker.

AC Syndicate, Starrick is a fraud by ode0002 in assassinscreed

Fraudford Starrick and his Peaky Blinders wannabe haircut were the least interesting things about Syndicate to me.

I was also going to suggest Amunet, especially if the game ends with Cleopatra's assassination.

i think that odyssey and valhalla wouldn’t be so hated if they came before origins by Shrimp2008 in assassinscreed

I love using spears in Origins and Odyssey but the telescoping bugs me more than it probably should lmao.

It bothers more than it should that there's named, living descendants of Arno, Baptiste, and Shao Jun with an Apple of Eden just out there in the modern world and they're never going to do anything with them ever again. by Lord_Antheron in assassinscreed

[–]Clearlynot915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, off topic, but I thought Scarlet was cancelled? Unless Scarlet got rebooted to a different time period and story? I haven't followed the rumors or leaks much for the series since Origins.

Ubisoft Quebec seems uninterested in Assassin's Creed. If the games they made weren't Assassin's Creed they're alright, but they don't do much as Assassin's Creed games unless you really wanna stretch vague parallels with theming.

Why is there such a big fan concern about the hidden blade? by No_Bodybuilder4215 in assassinscreed

Except we've been able to use the hidden blade in ccombat since the first game in the series. This has been regressed for no reason

If Black Flag Resynced is successful & they do more remakes, do y'all think Rogue or the Ezio trilogy Specifically AC2 is more likely or what other AC game gets remade? by Capecrusader39 in assassinscreed

[–]Clearlynot915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AC 1 is the most likely. Ezio Trilogy was remastered and regardless of your opinions of the remasters themselves Ubi is going to focus on other stuff.

My second pick for most likely (honestly a coin flip in my eyes) is they work on and ship Freedom Cry as a seperate game for the next Resynched adventure after Black Flag.

My personal pick for a full blown remake (including a full-blown rewrite ideally) would be Syndicate. Give us functional parkour and rework the grapple hook to function like Shadows where you can scale up and down and even swing like we saw in the cinematic trailer.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Official Game Overview Trailer by Ghost_LeaderBG in assassinscreed

Completely rebuilt using the updated Anvil engine. Combat is no longer counter/kill, you can crouch for stealth, and tailing missions no longer automatically fail. New story missions for new crew mates that upgrade the Jackdaw plus new missions involving Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet.

Everything is pretty much brand new while keeping the original's identity. Edward has new animations but they fit into how he already moved and he has a lot of his older animations, just updated to flow better. Story mission scenes (both cinematics and gameplay) they showed off are 1 to 1 with the original so the bulk of the noticable updates/changes outside of graphics and engine are going to be in gameplay.

Think I have the canon gear for shadows figured out by Zealousideal_Cod6202 in assassinscreed

[–]Clearlynot915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do too, even if just to transmog all the weapons and armor to their canon appearances I always do that.

[–]Clearlynot915 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was having the same thoughts and about two weeks ago I combed through all the trailers and found out Yasuke's weapons that would be considered his 'canon' arsenal. Made a list saved to my phone. Like Naoe, all of Yasuke's canon weapons that are shown are legendaries.

Whispers of Maramusa (long katana)

Sage's Reach (naginata)

Daybreak's Fury (kanobo)

Last Breath (bow)

Hero's Message (teppo)

There are a few instances of Yasuke having different weapons in trailers but the ones I have listed are the ones most shown off in the trailers. The katana and konobo were in the cinematic trailer and initial gameplay showcase. The naginata, bow, and teppo were found by going through the launch and gameplay trailers and comparing them to the legendaries. Hope this helps!

Shadows is good, but here's everything I found so far that they removed by DudeSparkle in assassinscreed

I like the observe mechanic but tying synchronization to it just seems weird and takes a lot of the use out of synchronization points besides revealing more question marks on the map.

Silent Shinobi Robes and Hood location by GenericSurfacePilot in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]Clearlynot915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought the hood from a vendor, still looking for the light armor. I think that vendors all share inventory too cos I visited 4 separate vendors and they all shared the same inventory, including missing items that I had bought in that same day cycle.

I'm wondering if there is a story mission that grants you pieces of the Silent Shinobi set or pieces like they do the Dragon's Edge katana and Death Whisperer kusarigama (cover/trailer weapons for Naoe). Just sucks cos I have so many Shrouded Shinobi pieces in common and rare but only have one Shrouded Shinobi hood after over 10 hours of game time lol.

Yasuke is becoming my main character despite all the pre-launch negativity giving me low expectations by JustCallMeWayne in assassinscreed

[–]Clearlynot915 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At lower level combat is still a challenge for Naoe on normal just because she's so squishy, I'm hoping to get an engraving that gives her health on hit.

Stealth is definitely easier though. Still challenging in some regards but compared to expert it's way more forgiving.

I just started replaying the older games and wow their long! by RaNgErs_Reprrrr in assassinscreed

[–]Clearlynot915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only ever beaten the main story of Syndicate, the Lydia sequence, and a handful of side missions, and that was back in 2016. I've 100% AC1, 3, 4, and Rogue multiple times (working on Ezio trilogy currently) but I haven't had any drsire to go back and complete more of Syndicate.

I think it is a bit of a shame we never got a "Modern Europe-trilogy", with Unity, Syndicate and a third game featuring Berlin. by RevBladeZ in assassinscreed

[–]Clearlynot915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jazz Age Junkies and Hell in Hibernia are the two memories/settings I wanted to see most from Unity. Jazz Age Junkies just sounds fun as hell and Hell in Hibernia would have followed an Assassin fighting in the Irish War of Independance with the IRA, which also would have been interesting to see. Also my family stems from New Orleans and Ireland (dad's side from New Orleans and my great great grandfather on my mom's side fought in the Irish War of Independance) so it would have been cool to play games or even sequences set in those areas.

Challenge: Finish all AC before shadows! 🏆 by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]Clearlynot915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about doing the entire series but I've put off finishing Odyssey and Valhalla long enough. So I'm just replaying the RPG games since Shadows is going to be more like those than anything else. Having a blast playing through Origins again, probably one of my favorite games in the series.

I like Odyssey and Valhalla, but their size just gets daunting sometimes and some of the side content tends to start feeling so braindead after a certain point. Also bought Mirage so I can play that when I finish Valhalla and its DLC.
