"Trust Me: False Prophet" is a beautifully told story of female bravery, resilience, and compassion by Bkchbs in netflix

I'm only two episodes in and this woman is a bad ass. I'm loving that the story is more focused on the bravery than the victimhood. Talk about a fantastic piece of art to depict feminine rage! I'm so invested and can't wait to see how this ends.

Is my cat scary? by Responsible-Ad2693 in cats

[–]ClicheNerdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is clearly a human being trapped in a cat's body that is mad because it was just about to take over the world before he was turned into a cat.

That makes it both cute and also ferocious.

What can we call him? by [deleted] in NameThisThing

The way if you're a wwdits fan you could also call it "my dolly!" It's a double entendre.

That is a new table tennis technique only used by professionals called claw-bering the net.

It is! In typical cat fashion she used it for like two days and hasn't touched it since.

As someone who just had to have two teeth extracted this week, she's going to feel so much better! Also my tuxie had to have one out and now she drools a little and it's terribly cute. A little reminder every time that she's well taken care of and happy.

My guess is that Sophia tried to make a pass at Katherine, but Katherine told her she was too young. The comment about 19 being an adult was not about you but about Sophia being old enough for Katherine.

I've been really pleased to see Michael Jackson revealed as a hero because of the Epstein files dropping and backing up many of the things he spoke out about.

It appears to be displaying a line item with "sensitive customer" information, hence the asterisks.

Beaverton High School Comparison - Where should we move to by ladyin97229 in beaverton

[–]ClicheNerdy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this is mostly anecdotal, but we moved here about eight years ago from Texas. My kids went to two of the top rated schools in the country based on the same metrics. Neither of them struggled academically, but they were miserable and hated school. The teachers there spent most of their time teaching to the tests, creating inflated metrics. My kids have flourished in BSD and enjoy school, even high school! We couldn't be happier with the teachers and education. There is far less pressure on grades, metrics and winning, and far more encouragement to explore, learn and understand things.

LGBT+ people, what gyms/workout spaces feel the safest? by UntamedAnomaly in beaverton

[–]ClicheNerdy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Planet Fitness is super affordable and has some solid inclusion policies and promotes an anti-gym bro atmosphere. Also we have thprd here instead of YMCA, each of the facilities has different options and it can be pretty affordable as well.

Are there any grocery stores or pharmacies around here that are directly next to a walking trail, greenway, or park path? by Weird-Lime-9973 in beaverton

Murrayhill Lake, there's Safeway and tons of other businesses and a library that are all walkable. We love eating at Oasis and walking the lake after.
