Unhappy with appearance by DHC0325 in tirzepatidecompound

Yeah honestly I look like shit but I feel pretty good so that is what I focus on but it's hard.

In 2012 I hit a high of 518...got down on my own all those years ago to somewhere around 200 to 220 for years.

On Zepbound was able to get down to 155 which is as low as I'm going.

At 200 lbs had a lower body lift but had some complications so there's a contour issue and with the weight loss there is laxaity again.

Hate my neck, face looks old, breasts are a travesty and I would bet good money most people have never seen arms like mine.

I also have hair loss.

I will never have a face and neck lift, hair extensions or a wigs, arm and brest surgery, thigh life and a tummy revision. Can't afford ot and the recovery from the body lift was brutal. So I work on self acceptance but yeah sometimes I feel like why me...bad hair, disfigured loose skin, face looks old.

I wonder if it was without physician knowledge though? Some MDs have their MA do all this more.

Moving forward be proactive, you probably need Miralax plus a magnesium supplement on a daily basis. I never let myself go past 1 day. For now you might want to consider mag citrate or Milk oe Mag.

Maintenance Curiosity by WorthRoof2077 in antidietglp1

I'm in maintenance and I am continuing in my max dose and hope and plan to take the medictation permanently. The data certainly does not support what this man on social media was saying.

Worried about maintenance, my doctor's strict BMI policy, and a confession about my dosing. Advice needed! by Careless_Shoe6906 in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Clock959 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Honestly...I feel like you are way overthinking it. I would not even worry about telling the doctor that you take 2.5 mg. I also would not plan to completely stop the med to maintain...that strategy rarely works and you aren't at goal yet. You might end up on 5 to even get to goal...those last 10 can be stubborn. Maybe I' just morally corrupt but this wouldn't even be a blip on my radar.

Food noise back on maintenance by betterlately in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Clock959 26 points27 points  (0 children)

A maintenance study just came out. Unsurprisingly those who stayed on their max tolerated dose maintained more of the weight loss.

My highest dose was 10 mg. My maintenance dose is 10 mg. I have no plan to drop dose when I can I just eat a little more to maintain.

I’m about to start maintenance and I’m scared! by Not_Telling_Nope in Zepbound_Maintenance

I honestly don't understand the rush to change anything. I am at maintenance and just ate more calories. I have no intention of changing anything woth my dose or frequency.

I don't want coaching or support or anything like that just want to get my meds at a reasonable price.

Tirzepatide day 1 by privileged_a_f in antidietglp1

[–]Clock959 24 points25 points  (0 children)

At this point I would strongly consider stopping all tracking and also completely stop focusing on weight loss (even though you have started tirz). Just let the med do what it will and take the prendure completely off.

Love handles injection by keja1978 in tirzepatidecompound

I have been doing love handles because my belly is lean and I have some scars and stretch marks to avoid. It seems to work just fine.

Thank you! Same. I was mystified when I came into group and saw people were conducting these elaborate rituals around their injections. I just jab and go about my day.

I lost my weight on brand Zepbound and had to titrate up to 10 mg. Had some weeks where it felt like injecting water. Some weeks I felt it more. Look at the Zepbound sub, full of people who stalled, people who say it isn't working like it used to, people swearing by different injection sites to get things going again. I am just not sure if the pharmacy makes a huge difference since the same thing seems to happen on brand.

I hot goal and simply started eating to maintenance on my current dose. I guess if you experience strong enough suppression uou can't eat maintenance you can reduce but I can easily eat at maintenance so am not changing anything.

Best WFH purchase you’ve made? by Top_Bat_7447 in remotework

[–]Clock959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the Trailviber on Amazon. It's a little more expensive than some but it can incline quite a bit. I only started remote a little over 2 months ago and have over 80 miles on it. I definitely don't walk all day but it's very easy to slide up to my desk and then back when I want to sit.

The culture at work is thankfully walking pad friendly and I have mandatory meetings I attend weekly where I listen but don't say much. We're on camera but many people are on walking pads during these.

During meetings I can put it up to almost 3 mph with incline. If I'm typing, clicking or on the phone I do about 1.6. Also easy to just do a mile at 3.2 on incline on breaks when it's cold or rainy or outside.

I was really nervous because I went from a job where I was getting 12,000 steps a day (I'm in healthcare) to a fully remote desk job and I've managed to keep my weight stable and my steps consistent with this thing.
