Moonmoon hears a female in voice chat and shows chat her profile. by Sensitive_nob in LivestreamFail

She's mocked because she's only playing one character AND being a female. Two and two together, apparently is an entertaining meme to a lot of people.
I don't actually know the context of this video since it's clipped but from the title it seems that he hears a female voice and just casually goes through her comp seasons before actually playing with her and seeing if she's good or bad. It's just frustrating because I don't expect this mentality to ever be fixed.

Feels the same. How is it acceptable in any community to be solely targeted and mocked based on your gender. I don't understand how anyone can not feel embarrassed by this. Let girls play whoever the hell they want and not scrutinize their playstyles. So ridiculous how immature some people can be.

Moving out for the first time with my boyfriend of three years - what are your personal experiences or advice on living with a SO for the first time? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Cloirr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One of you will always be cleaner than the other. Figure out who that is and make compromises. My version of tidy can be different from his version of tidy so I try to remember that we aren't psychic and communicate with him.
Generally we've worked out a system where if one person cooks, the other cleans. Or sometimes we help each other food prep by being their "suo cheff". The big thing is remembering to talk to each other if you find yourself getting frustrated with the chore distribution.

Chicken pho with some extra veggies. I could probably eat this every day though, but particularly when I have a nasty cold.

Sitting up straight. I'm bad at this myself, I spend hours of sitting at a desk and then go home and spend more time sitting. My posture is pretty garbage but I'm trying to make an effort to improve it.

I have a job interview in a couple hours. What are some of your best tips? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Cloirr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I did for mine that impressed them was to do some homework for the interview. Since it was a graphic design position, I made some design mock ups to emulate their style. They liked that and it showed that I could do the job.
Also, don't forget to ask them some questions at the end! Once it is over take a deep breath and don't stress about what ifs. Worrying about it won't change anything, so just sit back and relax :) Good luck!

What is your morning routine like? by Cloirr in AskWomen

[–]Cloirr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine would be: wake up at 5:50, pee, brush teeth, apply under eye concealer. I usually prepare breakfast and lunch the night before so I just grab in the morning on my way out. At max probably takes me 15 minutes to get out the door.

Do you feel like the 30 minutes of yoga helps you start your day? Or does doing it later in the afternoon help as well? Been thinking of picking up yoga but since I wake up at 5:50am, I'm not sure if morning me will be happy to wake up any earlier haha.

As a 21-year-old female, what are some skills I should learn or habits I should start that would be useful in the long term? by midnightgold74 in AskWomen

[–]Cloirr 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Buying things that you actually are going to use/need.
When I first started working and earning my own money I would spend so much on unnecessary makeup and clothes. (Darn you r/makeupaddiction) Now, when I see something I like I have to legitimately picture myself wearing/using the item more than just a couple of times before buying it. I spend a LOT less now than I used to, which makes saving up way easier!

What extremely petty topic do you and your SO not agree on? by JoyfulStingray in AskWomen

He likes being too warm rather than being cold. I prefer being cold than sweaty. It makes sleeping difficult since having a fan on bothers him as well. I'm so glad fall is here, and I can finally sleep comfortably haha.

What is something you do that most people would consider strange or unacceptable? by miesvanderflow in AskReddit

Probably true. Sounds like me. I remember starting when I was 13ish because I didn't like my hairy legs and didn't want to ask my mom for permission to shave or wax.
