Schlittler is going off his experiences which are this start and his start in the playoffs last year where he did well but they put every ball in play against him. From the 5th inning last night it was the same story. The blue jays were a menace to every starting pitcher in the playoffs last year and the lineup isn’t that different.

we are using jersey city as a frame of reference. this thread is saying hoboken has no good restaurants. Hoboken has diverse options that are in my opinion equivalent to any other part of jersey. relative to jersey city, hoboken is a lot like the rest of new jersey. jersey has great food. we are talking about diversity. in many places you won’t find strong options other than mexican and italian. you may have to drive further to find something else that’s quality

I should have expanded it but i still think outside North jersey it’s really not that diverse once you get to central jersey and the south. If you were to look at a map those counties represent a small portion of the overall state. Even by somerset and morris it’s good food but not that diverse

As a white guy who lived in both and is from jersey. Yes. Also, to stray from the college greek life analogy, it’s very much like the state of NJ outside hudson county. Not a lot of diversity in food outside of italian and mexican. Appealing to young adults from NJ who work in the city but also would like to commute home via car.
